This waterfall is still a bit of the beaten track, even though it is very close to the Ring Road. You have a good chance that you visit it alone, which makes it even more special. The waterfall is less impressive as the big ones,...More

A nice waterfall very viewable from the platform. If you take a left halfway from the parking space you walk up to the top of the waterfall. Nice too. If you walk a bit further you arrive at paradisarlaut. Sort of an oasis with remarkable...More

As you travel the long way from North to West you have few spots to enjoy nature and this is one of them, otherwise will be a long drive. Take a break and do few steps. Enjoy!

Turned off the Ring Road to check out this waterfall. It's more of a wide series of cascading mini-falls that's worth the short hike.

Not as tall as some other in Iceland but just as lovely. It was raining so we had the views all to ourselves. Park at the golf clubhouse and it is a short walk to the falls and beautiful views!

A five minute walk from the parking lot in front of the “Golf House.” A quiet, undisturbed, and remote waterfall. If you are in the area stop by.

After we left from Reykjavik to travel highway 1 clockwise, the Glanni waterfall was our first waterfall spotted in Iceland. From the parking spot it was only a 10minute walk to the viewing point. Impressive to see, but not as impressive as other Icelandic waterfalls.
