I love going down to this area to take walks with my cat and enjoy warm summer evenings. This is a lovely place for dates, family time, and taking guests from out of town. It's a nice mix of urban and outdoors.

The Riverfront is simply beautiful. I jogged this area and I felt very safe. They have a couple of big slides - for kids or adults, which were fun. I didn't see a playground but the slides were fun. The walk goes along the water...More

Run by the National Parks Servive, there is a strong emphasis on the history of the Omaha / Iowa / Missouri River Area. Plenty of walkin and jogging trails and a pedestrian bridge across the Missouri River. Worth the stop.

This is located by the Kerry Pedestrian Bridge. There is a visitor center where one can read about the Lewis and Clark expedition. Great staff.

Went here with 4 paratrooper buddies to visit the Airborne Memorial. Coolest memorial to American paratroopers I have seen in the US. The entire park is well kept and clean. There are several other memorials as well and a nice pond.

The riverfront area near the Lewis and Clark Landing is great for walking. There is a sculpture entitled "Labor" that is worth a visit. It is interesting to see the size and flow of the river.

informative for the few exhibits there, the outdoor garden, and introductory film itself not worth a special trip but great place for a break if biking or hiking along the river especially from downtown or the Bob Kerry Bridge
