This is it's own attraction huh? Well - okay, but I guess it seems like all part of the same - ie Heartland park, BK Bridge, etc. A cool sculpture complex for sure - the picture of where the flood waters came up to (up to the smitty's wrist!) were interesting as well.

Learning about Lewis and Clark was not on my radar but my kids wanted to stop in and I thought it would be a good learning experience. we were pleasantly surprised.

This is a favorite place for my family and me to walk. The power of the Missouri River is even more evident close-up. The Kerry Bridge is an architectural wonder that is a walking path across the Missouri River from Nebraska to Iowa. The bridge connects trails that extend in both states far beyond the confines of the riverfront. At... More

This is a great way to spend part of an afternoon, it shows a brief overview of the Lewis & Clark Expedition. THe video they offer is well worth the time. I think it is closed on the weekends though.

Went with my family and they had enough stuff to keep you busy if you like history and the national parks. The rangers were super informative. Little kids would get bored easy. Its a good place for a quick stop, but I wouldn't spend a lot of time there. It has easy access to the pedestrian bridge, which is nice... More

Our friends brought us here while showing us around Omaha one evening. On a Sunday night the place was almost deserted so we could enjoy the statues and the views of the river and Omaha skyline. There is a lot of free parking very close by. Recommended

We enjoyed the video, and the park ranger was friendly. Although the the exhibit area is small, the information was quite interesting and informative.

We went for the pedestrian bridge and got a National park visit in on the way! We parked at the landing outside of the building and thought we would just walk through to the bridge. We were greeted by park rangers that shared with us about Lewis and Clark, the Missouri river and other National parks. There are activities for... More

This place is a great venue for Taste of Omaha, which is a great way to kick off the summer. They line the landing with booths of merchants and food vendors. It gets pretty warm because it's mostly concrete and very little shading, but they put up some tents and awnings to get people out of the sun. During the... More
