The market has charicter, restaurants, and old cobbled streets, certainly many people gather here at all times of the day, and there are some nice pubs, it is worth a half dayand around the corner is a great music instrument shop, and gun shop, best time to visit is from 2pm to 8pm. Hope this has been of some help... More

Love this area of town with unique shopping, specialty restaurants, bars, and shops offering a variety of sweets. In the evening we saw horse drawn carriages but they stopped offering rides about 10pm. Cobblestone streets that are still part of traffic yet made for pedestrians. Restaurant specialties include Plank Seafood Provisions (omg, we ate good there!), a Middle Eastern restaurant,... More

Area very fun and lively area. Lots of stores, bars, clubs and restaurants. Quaint cobblestone streets. Clean area. Well maintained. Parking was a little sparse.

This was a nice little afternoon day trip. There aren't a ton of shops, but there are many restaurants and bars to choose from. The old market passageway was a cool thing to walk through and the antique mall was kind of crazy/weird to check out too!

We're not "shoppers" so we don't crave this sort of thing, but I suppose it's quite well done - or doing - still seems to be an awful lot of construction - that's progress I suppose.

Fun place to walk around. Interesting shopping and nice restaurants. You can even take a carriage ride around the market. Nice relaxing feel, and fun whether you're looking for casual or fancy.

The Old Market is a great place to stroll and sip. The street musicians are an added incentive to visit. One can catch a carriage ride here. The art galleries are some of the best in the midwest.
