Easy walking area for eclectic shops and many food choices. Very few clothing stores. I believe it is a good starting point for visitors new to Omaha. The gentleman in the Visitor's Center was pleasant, knowledgeable and very helpful.

Very cool part of town. Good open air restaurants and bars with a lot of shopping opportunities. We visited a vinyl record shop and ate lunch in a bar. Ice cream shop had a line coming out the door. No ice cream for me.

Spaghetti Works was still alive and well. Love what they've done to the buildings. The lofts & fine dinning and shopping throughout DwnTwn is exceptional. All around good vibes as U traverse thru the cobble stone streets.

A lot of neat shops that were very unique to the area. Even if only looking people made you feel welcome, and thus I ended up with my first belt over $200.00

I've been twice to experience the Omaha area. Cute old time area. Cobblestone streets and plenty of places to eat.

Filled with restaurants in a historic part of downtown Omaha, the Old Market area is a great spot for lunch or dinner. The restaurants are varied ranging from the predictable Omaha steak joints to more surprising places like a restaurant offering Nepalese cuisine.

Enjoyed a nice walk and a little shopping. There are several restaurants to choose from. Go when they are having the farmers market to make it more worth while.

There are some stores that carry vintage product but not as a stand alone store - at least to the best of my knowledge. We could have missed some of the stores. Still well worth the browse

The horse drawn carriage only goes through the Old Market area. I'm not sure of their policies. I think you pay for a specific time.
