Visited on October 2, 2016and the place was filled with birds. Visited late morning (11 am to 2 pm). Egrets, raptors, ducks, geese and even some western meadowlarks. A good day trip and only about an hour from Klamath Falls.

visited late August 2016, there were so many different birds! I'm not a bird person still I enjoyed every view. By the way, it is unpaved road.

Read other reviews by real bird watchers for that information. This has a very modern facility with historical aspects preserved throughout the park. A feeding station and tiny creek draw birds to the back of the building, where you view them through windows. Very cool....More
