If you are taking the Alaska Railroad from Anchorage then this is your station. If not, stop by for a quick family photo next to the model train outside.

The Alaska Railroad uses this station for travel to cruise ports, hiking, camping, Glacier Parks and more. This is the only railroad that has flag stops along the way. The building is clean, ADA accessible. Rail cars are comfortable, have snack areas and restrooms.

During a recent visit to Anchorage we visited the Alaska Railroad Depot before our ride on the Wilderness Express. We found interesting books and gift items at this depot. So glad we took the time to go inside.

We took both the Glacier Discovery and the Denali roundtrip to Talkeetna. Can't say enough about how great the Alaska Railroad is having ridden many trains in the States and Canada. You're missing a lot if you don't ride this railroad.
