Bus is typical excursion bus - bathroom in the back, fairly plush seats, air conditioning. Much less expensive way to get from Anchorage to points north than the train, with interesting running tour commentary from bus driver, chances to see wildlife, and time to sleep.

Our ride on the motorcoach was comfortable, and fine in every way except for the bus driver. She never stopped talking about irrelevant things. She was not informational, but thought she was supposed to be a comedian. It was a painful trip for that reason.

We saw a big variety of wild life. We could have skipped a few stops when the animals were a long distance from bus, but the guide provided excellent information on the animals and environment.
