We took the train from Denali to Anchorage. The view is lovely, the food on the train was great, and the service was excellent. We checked a bag which slowed things down leaving the station in Anchorage but meant we didn't have to monitor it...More

We took the glass domed train from Anchorage to Talkenta. The ride was thru our land tour portion from Rayal Caribbesan cruises. The train is slow so you can see the scenery and some of the animals like moose etc.

The train ride itself is pretty fun. Something that kids would probably like. There are guides that talk and point things out along the way. I recommend taking the Alaska Railroad at least once, but just one way. You will hear the same stories over...More

There doesn't appear to be any Millers. They have a number of Alaskan beers: Alaskan Amber King Street Blonde Ale Twister Creek IPA Coldfoot Pilsner All $6 each. I'm not sure which complimentary drinks you are referring to... More
Nice reviews all. I was wondering do you need to pay for the day trip for the Spencer glacier and can you just walk the path to the glacier for free? Thank you.

If you can get to Denali National Park then that's a lovely place to go. I only stopped off for a short time in March while everything was covered in snow so I can only imagine it's glorious in the summer!
