This is such a beautiful zoo. Both the young kids and adults loved it. The animals are kept in huge, natural enclosures. Food for both kids and adults was available and of good quality—for those with young kids, this is vital information !

Unusual zoo with an upper and lower walk around. And you do a lot of walking, all in the same direction - it is brilliantly designed. Walking through underground tunnels provided cool shade on a hot day. Lunch halfway in the giraffe restaurant was well...More

As the other recent reviews have said this a superb zoo with some amazing features. On top of this all the exhibits have been designed with good viewing access for all and it is particularly good for taking photo’s - no wire fences in the...More

I don't like zoos for a number of reasons but this one was exceptional. Spacious, interesting and utterly unique. We went on a quiet Friday and felt like some sections were just for us, which helped with the day. However, even when there were hoards...More

Came here whilst on a Family holiday, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The Zoo is located in what can only be described as an old quarry. There are no small cages (like in other Zoo's we have been to), and this has the best Aviary...More

Tip: book online and not only you get a wee discount but you jump the whole queue. This park is magnificent and what a great way to walk around. But don't expect to see elephants. Giraffes, lions, yes. The restaurant is at the end of...More

This zoo is unique, located inside an old quarry. So instead of traditional walls or fences the quarry itself separates the different sections. Underground tunnels connect these sections. You can see the zoo in about 3-4 hours. Also it offers quite a lot of shade...More

This well advertised bioparc is very much deserving of its excellent reputation. The enclosures are thoughtfully constructed, cleverly designed to mimic the traditional habitats of the animals inside. Many of them contain a variety of different species contributing to this illusion. The highlight for us...More

We visited the Bioparc with our nine year old triplet daughters and it surpassed all expectations. The parc is located in an old quarry and makes excellent use of the space; the visitor route winds its way through tunnels and animals have cliffs to clamber...More

Visited this zoo today, and while it is very good in many ways, in others it is disappointing. Having paid over €100 for a family of 5 (note they classify 12 year olds as adults for the purpose of ticket prices!), was taken aback to...More
