Great use of 2 1/2 hours, very informative, no rain which was a bonus, good trip up Elliot Bay to the Chittenden Locks, where you go into Union Lake through all the commercial fishing and water houses. Gave me inspiration for other things to do in Seattle.

Have you ever been through a "lock" on a ship? Well, you don't have to go to Panama, you can have the experience in Seattle. I wanted to see the houseboats around the shores in Seattle, so I took a cruise from Union Lake into Washington Lake. As we went through the Shipping Canal to Puget Sound. our boat was... More

We really enjoyed our boat ride! It happened to be a very cold day, but we sat inside and enjoyed some wine and our informative tour guide. The cruise was advertised as 2 hours and it was closer to 1.5, but at $35 I would say it was still a good value. We saw the floating houses, sea planes, a... More

Just came back from one of the worst rides ever in my life. Here are the reasons. 1. This was supposed to be a parade of ships decorated in Christmas themes. Great concept if was not for the fact they forgot to explain the "captain" of our ship (Lady Mary) what does a parade means. While the main ship was... More

We spent so much time down by the water front that this trip was really seeing another Seattle. The trip was nice and long... we saw so many neat things. Sea planes taking off and landing, Bill Gates home, large and small boats.. and the house boats from Sleepless in Seattle. We really relaxed on this tour

Did the Locks cruise yesterday on a beautiful sunny day (which undoubtedly helped) we upgraded with our city pass from the harbour cruise and were really pleased we did. The whole cruise was excellent and the tour guide Kelly was so knowledgeable and interesting. Actually saw Mount Rainier which is unusual. I would thoroughly recommend this cruise to anyone.

We had a beautiful & sunny fall day to enjoy a wonderful 2 hour cruise. It starts at Lake Union ($5 less for one way) & ends at Pier 55 (or you can take the bus from Pier 55 for round trip). The guide provided great info about the buildings, boats, "local flavor" and Seattle. We got to see floating... More

Beautiful day, relaxing and informative boat ride on Lake Union. The ride is smooth - the speed limit is 5 knots, the crew friendly and the views and information interesting - even the child aboard was entertained. It was fun to learn about an alternative lifestyle and see the cute floating homes. Well worth 1.5 hours and reasonable price.

Went out on the lock cruise on a super windy day and although the water was quite rough and the boat was rocky it made for quite a fun ride. The tour guide gave a lot of great information, the scenery was amazing and it was just an all-around great way to spend an afternoon on the water.
