The Ballard Farmer’s Market and dog show is a wonderful farmers market which is about food, not crafts and other related junk. There are really lots of well behaved dogs at this market. If you don’t love dogs, this may not be for you.

The Ballard Farmer’s Market is really about farmers, local food and a great time. So many so-called farmer’s markets are little more than craft fairs, full of stuff for impulse shoppers. Not so here. It’s really about food.

This a very nice open air street market and takes place every Sunday. They sell mainly local fresh produce, food products and handicrafts. It was fun checking out what was being sold. There are cafe, restaurants and shops on both sides of the street too....More
