Perfect market with everything covered

The market has amazing stands of all sorts and there are wonderful things to eat. The aisles are wide and the size isn't overwhelming. One of my faves!

The Ballard Sunday Farmer’s Market is huge! It has three entrances and takes up part of two streets south of Market Street. There must be about 8 blocks total, with stalls back-to-back in the street. I was not hungry, but I bought two delicious cookies to enjoy later. Only in a NW farmer’s market would you see such unique stands:... More

Great selection of flowers, herbs, cheese, hot sauces, gift items, and great people watching. Prices are higher than local stores, but you have more fun shopping here than the local store. It is very busy, and everyone brings a dog or two. If you don't have a dog, borrow one for your walkabout!

We had an enjoyable morning walking round the market and sampling food. Plenty of good produce to take home to cook with later.

Downtown Ballard, one of Seattle's oldest neighborhoods, is re-establishing itself as a lively sub-center for fine cuisine, interesting shopping and nearby sights, such as the Locks. The energy of the area is exemplified by the weekly farmer's market which is charming and not over-loaded as are some others. Wend your through the street fair like feel but also step over... More

This farmer's market is held every Sunday and it's great! There is local organic produce, meats, and other goods like soaps, flowers, pottery, clothing and so much more. Love it!

This is the most delightful of Seattle's many weekly markets, and one of the few that operates year-around (on Sundays). The street closes, the stalls are erected by 10 am, and street musicians almost always show up. This is in the historic part of Ballard, which has been beautifully restored and is human-scaled with no towering buildings. You could make... More

A rich variety of stands from local organic produce to nicely prepared pizza's and more. And that all in the middle of the road with coffee or thee houses as well as some other nice little shops. Good fun!

If you're visiting Seattle make your friends take you to the farmers market in Ballard on Sunday. It is open all year. Great to go anytime but summer and fall are my 2 favorite times to go.
