We passed this lovely building on our walk round so we called in to have a look round the inside this is one amazing building no need to buy anything from the shop but you might be tempted. It all glass light and airy the staff are helpful and approachable. If nothing else its well worth a look round.

It has big glass windows. Look at it if you happen to be passing. TripAdvisor wants me to say more. It's a library. If you live here, use it.

Fodor listed the Seattle Public Library as a must see venue when visiting downtown. The building is simply an architectural marvel both inside and out. We were impressed with the openness of its atrium area and how logical is its overall organization. The library has a wonderful historical resource collection for those who are interested in early and significant local... More

Not only is this a stunning building but it has an interior that accommodates the collection very well with stack numbers in tiles on the floor for ease of finding the shelf you want. The reading areas were filled with people of all ages and the combination of an elegant library and many users made one feel that the city... More

Loved the vibe at this library. The architecture was beautiful and there was lots to explore. This library is extremely large and it's easy to get lost. The gift store in the library was great as well, they offered certain titles for discounted prices.

A very cool, very pretty building but, unless you're really into architecture/design, not necessarily a must-do for tourists visiting the city.

We visited Seattle and we were recommended that this was a worthwhile attraction to visit. Yes a stunning architectural design of this innovative building. Unfortunately there were no interactive activities available at the time of our visit despite this being advertised. Well worth a visit, but check activities beforehand.

Great architecture with wide and open spaces and view panels, many floors and sections. Beautifully design!

What an unusual structure! We walked there and were so glad we did. We entered and enjoyed the quiet, then found the little snack area. It was refreshing for these city travelers to find a nice young man to serve us, reasonably priced snacks and drinks and to have a place to sit and rest for a few minutes. This... More
