This library is amazing. Not only do they have a great selection of books but the architecture here is amazing and alone, worth the trip.

We came to check out the central library. The architecture was interesting but the library was not a great place to sit and read.

I only came to see the building and walk around inside, not to use the library. So no comment on the library part of it. The architecture here is amazing! I loved being able to walk to the top via the spiral walkway, without using...More

It's worth a visit for the architecture alone, but with ten floors it's a very well stocked library as well! The childrens' department is awesome; don't miss it.

The library is a destination in itself. It's worth stopping in even if you have no "library" business to take care of.

Visited while in Seattle on business, what a great library. Loved the building, ripping fast, free wifi, spent a couple of wonderful hours poking around.

I was hoping that I would get used to the design of Seattle's famous library. It has happened for me. Yet. The inside is pretty great. I'm actually inspired to read books. There are also plenty of great places to studies and enjoyable scheduled activities.

There's actually parking in the building, but I suspect it is quite pricey. In general, you'll manage downtown Seattle better without a car. There is pretty decent bus service. And you can walk. It's a relatively... More
