The architecture is absolutely stunning! It is worth a side trip to go in and check it out. The red hallway and staircase is right out of a dream....so vivid and cool! Nice places to relax inside and hang out.

This is one of the unique places in Seattle that is worth taking a tour, no mater your age. Set it up, before you come, because it is popular. There is also a place where you can get a snack.

I love the structure of this building and the inside matches the outside. There is a great selection and it is easy to find what you are looking for.

The Seattle Libraries are all good in general, the ones at Greenwood and Broadview are my two favorites. Clean and they have a good selection of paper books. Great internet access as well for the public.

I love this location, along with the small neighborhood library branches of the Seattle Public Library. There is even a special geneology section, with amazing reference books and professionally trained geneologists who will assist!

As a member of the library I prefer to visit the Central library. Its architecture is not outdone by the wonderful staff.

This is one of the must see in Seattle - beautiful building and cute cafe. Smack downtown on 4th avenue. Grab a coffee and peruse the collection.

The Friends of the Seattle Public LIbrary collect and sell books for the benefit of the library budget. You can find out more by going to the main library's web site or to that of the Friends themselves.
