It was 2pm and the sun was best for pictures out the four ways, north-south-east-west. The salt water shimmers in the small waves. Rain or shine, a great place to visit. This was my first time on the Ferris Wheel and I now wish to try the one in London England. Happy J.K. Rollins week in Tri-Cities Washington. The magic... More

This was less expensive than the Space Needle and less touristy, but in a touristy area. The wait was a lot shorter and we enjoyed the privacy of having our own car. The views of the city were nice as well as the ocean. Way better than having to wait in line for a time, to wait for an elevator,... More

As a first timer in Seattle I had to get on the great wheel. Gives you good views of the city. I was a little worried I'd get sick on the ride, but it's pretty smooth and didn't really doesn't swing around like I thought it would.

A wonderful way to view the city, the harbour and have fun. We hopped on just before sunset on a sunny day and it was fabulous. The wheel goes slow enough so those who are a little afraid of heights feel safe. It was fun. You can walk around the harbour after your ride or catch a photo of sunset... More

As a person terrified of falling I was a little scared at first. The Great Wheel is really cool...kind of expensive but I think we were up about 10 - 15 minutes so it was a pretty decent ride. It was a clear afternoon & we could see Rainer. I was expecting a jerking when others were getting on &... More

We went on a Sat in Mid Feb. the lines were not bad and it's nice to have a chance to look around at the skyline and the water as you wait. The wait was about 20 min. Once on board your in a totally enclosed glass cabin. Depending on lines and loading it may last up to 20 minutes... More

The views are nice, the price is not. This is okay for a one time deal, other than that I woiuldnt waste my money to do it any more than that.

If you want an aerial view, hop a ride. My son has riden it twice. He enjoyed it so much, he spent his own money to ride it again. It might thrill some but not me. If you have time and money to kill or just love ferris wheels then go for it.

I took a business group of 20 international people to the Great Wheel after dinner at Elliotts Oyster House next door. It was conveniently located and a great finish for an evening. We pre-purchased tickets online and the line to get on was only about 5-10 minutes. It wasn't a long ride, 4 circuits around, but it was sufficient and... More

This is a great way to get the perfect view of the city. It's definitely a lot of fun and I was surprised that it moved so smoothly (I had never been on a ferris wheel so I wasn't sure what to expect) - there were great views so bring a camera!
