About
This must-see museum exhibits creative and colorful blown glass sculptures of renowned artist Dale Chihuly. Eight indoor galleries and lush landscaped gardens feature a mix of new and past significant works. They are awe-inspiring whether you visit during the day, or in the evening when the sculptures are lit up. The highlight here is a 100-foot-long glass sculpture suspended in a glass conservatory—one of his largest ever. Located at the base of the iconic Space Needle, you might want to buy a combined ticket for cost savings or get a Seattle City Pass. – Tripadvisor

    Wonderful experience
The ticket is pricey but it’s worth. It’s so different, very exclusive. You can save few dollars if you go early like early bird special. They do have live demo about glass blowing. If interested can watch the movie too.

    Amazing!
We have always been a fan of Chihuly’s work, and we made this trip from Boston to Seattle specifically to visit the garden and exhibition! We were blown away! The exhibition is extremely well done, and the audio guide that is available on smart phones is excellent. The exhibition highlights various aspects of Dale Chihuly’s work, and the videos in the theater explain the process of creating these works of art and talk about several places that he has installed his work. The garden is a pleasure to stroll through, ablaze with color and shapes. The Glass House is awesome! Make sure you stay for at least one of the glassblowing demonstrations that are held in the garden. They are fascinating!

    Chihuly Gardens and Glass
Located within the area with the Space Needle, this has some of the most colorful and artistic glass designs anywhere. There is admission and the whole walkthrough took less than one half hour, including the outside garden There was a short live demonstration of glass blowing in the court. and the souvenir shop at the end.

One of a Kind Art and Garden that Doesn't Disappoint
I was amazed that this museum exists. Chihuly's glass blowing art is so inspiring. The displays are organized and make sense to the story and evolution of Chihuly. The video in the theater was helpful to see the man in action. The works are magical and well worth the time. Go early in the summertime. Seattle can be jam-packed with tourists. Gardens are a favorite with the installations integrated into the plants and flowers.

One of the best museums I've ever visited
Oh my, it was awesome. Lovely exhibits. Stunning masterpieces. Great space. Loved all the rooms, the garden is incredible and thoroughly enjoyed the glass blowing demonstration. Probably now in my top 5 museums in the World...I enjoyed every single exhibit and was very reluctant to leave. Luckily my friend treated me to the book which is really interesting..

    Beautiful
This is a MUST see if you are in Seattle. The indoor exhibit is breathtaking and surreal, but the outside, garden is just, beautiful and soothing. Seeing how the glass is interspersed with the grass, trees rocks and wood is just too beautiful for words.

    Love the glass
The glass art is beautiful, and it should be on your list when visiting Seattle. It makes for some great pictures, and it is great to see so many of his artworks in one place. Go on a sunny day, if possible, as the glass in the gardens and in the glass-topped building really glitter on those days. They have a cafe, a gift shop, one demonstration stand, and a theater showing documentaries of his work.

    Just Beautiful
We have seen other Chihuly Glass before but this collection was awesome. Make sure to watch the videos of him creating his glass works. Can purchase tickets that allow you to go to Chihuly and the Space Needle but you only save a few bucks, so don't stress if you don't bundle tickets.

    Such talent is awe-inspiring
It is amazing to see the talent of this glass craftsman. His glass pieces are awe inspiring and those that are placed in the gardens blend in beautifully with the natural environment. The videos that explain the different production techniques and placement of the pieces are aso a must see when in the venue. Overall the Chihuly Gardens are a must do when in Seattle - worth any cost.

    Glass on Steroids
This is quite the interesting exhibit. Hard to stop 20,000 plus excellent reviews. There is excellent artistry and the videos show he actually has many artists helping him create what you see. Everything is large and really takes glass making to a new level. Can you afford his pieces? Well maybe 40 years ago but his fame makes it unaffordable for average attendees. Even the price of admission is on the high side especially for non-US dollar holders. Worth the trip but be prepared to empty your coffers. The tour can easily be done in less than 90 minutes.

I am a hige Chihuly fan. We are blessed to have a smaller version of the museum in St Petersburg FL. This museum has a stunning collection of his work, and the atrium and outdoor garden are breathtaking! Great pictures too because it sits below the Space Needle tower.

There’s a reason Chihuly is hailed as a pioneer of glassblowing, and the opportunity to get up close and personal with so much of his work is a chance everyone should take.

The gallery is vibrant and centers around deep, bright colors and prisms of light. Much of the art is inspired by deep-sea life, though there is also a sense of otherworldly, futuristic themes as well as whimsical Seuss-like fantasy.

This museum is both a place to escape to and be inspired by.

You can purchase a ticket either inside the museum or at a self-serve kiosk outside. There are about 8 indoor exhibits as well as a garden to explore. It’s not particularly long, but honestly it was the perfect length for me. There’s a regular glassblowing demonstration in the garden that we watched (it was about 15 minutes long, but honestly I would skip it and watch an episode of Blown Away on Netflix instead).

Overall, if you’ve got the time, I’d highly recommend visiting this museum of a world-class artist and mind-bending artcraft.

I was in doubt if to go here at all when planning our trip. My wife and daughter were against it from the beginning, however being at the top of the TA list I decided to buy combo tickets with Space needle.
The display is nice and interesting, however small and not worth the 30$+ pp entry fee. I watched similar exhibitions all over Europe for much smaller fee and some even for free.

Located in the centre of Seattle, just right next to the Space Needle, the Chihuly garden & glass is a must go location, tickets are sold optionally along with the lift to the top of the tower, but I suggest buying them both.
The museum possesses the beauty of colorful crystal clear shining glass, plus the reflection of flickering light above the ceiling, making a mesmerizing look from all aspect.

If you have a couple days in Seattle, I would thoroughly recommend this!
Such beautiful artwork, and insight into an incredible artist. If you can time it right, try going to one of the live demos in the garden at the end of the exhibition so you can learn how glassblowing is done, and more about the history of glassblowing in Seattle.

Just right in the place next to the spaceneedle, no need to look for another parking spot if you wanna visit the tower and chihuly garden together on the same day.
Takes you a few steps to enjoy an outstanding, unique arts made of glass, colorful and shined by the lights. Highly recommended for first visit at seattle
