In many previous trips to Seattle, I had not had an opportunity to walk through the University of Washington's campus. I had done a lot of reading about the history of the campus plan. The site was designed for the 1909 Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition by John Charles Olmsted, which became the layout of the campus after the Exposition. This review is... More

We walked around the campus a bit before a friendly student stopped and directed us toward the Red Square and the library. When in the library, I felt like I was at Hogwarts. I was impressed by how many of the university buildings were new but also by how many had more historical architecture but seemed to be impeccably preserved.... More

ICE-free zone. Really? A sanctuary campus for probable criminals? I wouldn't feel safe having my daughters attend there.

Lovely stately building and blooming cherry trees at this Iconic school in the Seattle area of Washington! Our son graduated from Foster's Business College here! Great school!

Wonderful game and the stadium was very nice to walk around. The food was good. Parking was a little bit of a walk but worth it!

Visiting Seattle, a visit to UW is a nice stop, even if you aren't a student. In spring, the flowers and blooming trees are stunning! On a clear day you can see Mt. Rainier over the fountain. Suzzallo Library reading room is like stepping back in time. If you are hungry, so many options! Head to the HUB or out... More

Probably one of the most beautiful university campuses I have been to, really green and hilly. A pleasure to walk through. If you're just travelling through seattle then stop by this campus to visit the amazon bookstore(great prices and selection!) or some of the various excellent food options.

The combination of classic structures and new architecture makes this campus one of the most picturesque that I've ever seen.
