This is an amazing place just to visit and walk around. I would love to have taken out one of the boats, but by the time I discovered the center we had booked the remainder of our time.

Great place where you rent historic wooden boats. Very well run operation and doesn't get super packed so it's relaxed. Highly recommended for something that not everyone else is doing.

we were on our way to the larger museum next store when we saw the Center. What a great collection of wooden boat craftsmanship and informative displays. You can sign up in advance to sail on some of their boats as well.

Fun, low key collection of wooden boats right next to MOHAI at South Lake Union Park. Try the free boat rides on Sundays!
