A lovely park within the city and a super easy and relaxing 3 mile walk around. Lots of amenities. The only negative is that because it’s small and surrounded by streets, you really never escape the sound of traffic.

We spent several hours walking around the nice lake at this "park within the city". A large variety of locals appeared to be enjoying the park, as we were. Quite an interesting place indeed.

Enjoyable as a single circuit, or multiple laps. Early morning is my favorite time of the day. Runners, cyclist, walkers, etc. you can even mix it up with wind sail or boat rentals. I enjoy the walk with friends, solo, and now with my grandson.

This is what the parks movement was meant to take us towards, and succeeded. Democratic, non-hierarchical, space for all people to come together to relax, picnic, swim, exercise, sing, play music and enjoy shady trees while watching young men and women play vigorous sports. Good...More

Greenlake is a wonderful city resource. You will always see people walking, jogging, skateboarding (sometimes pulled by dogs), sleeping on the grass, playing with their dogs, playing with their friends, BBQing, picnicing, walking babies, and, in the summer, boating. You can rent a few different...More

Green Lake is my favorite place to get a daily walk in. Wonderful for people watching and a nice flat cardio workout with plenty of nature and beauty to enjoy within close access to the city feel.

This is a great place for a jog or walk. Take a picnic and just hang out. There are great restaurants nearby as well.

Trail around lake. Variety of people - lots of them. Many choices for recreating - walking the trail, boating, picnicking, skating, biking. Food places nearby or bring a picnic. Very nice park for the Green Lake neighborhood and a city.

Despite the crowds this park has plenty of space for all. With the well-maintained paths, flora and many places to sit and just look it restores the soul!

There is a paved walkway which circles the entire lake. You share it with inline skaters, bike riders, all the other walkers who come to enjoy this lake just north of Downtown Seattle. I enjoy coming to this area over and over. It's not usually...More
