We stumbled across Green Lake Park and had a great walk around and enjoying the beautiful scenery. It was a gorgeous day in Seattle which helped but we will definitely be back here soon!

A visit to Green Lake Park during the late fall of winter tends to be a bit more relaxed due to there being less people. It's beautiful no matter when you visit. And there are some places nearby to warm with an espresso.

This is a beautiful 3 mile loop around a beautiful lake. It actually is an Olmstead park, so that says a lot about it. You can see ducks, geese, and American Coots. Also the occasional eagle who might be badgered by a murder of crows....More

The community center at Greenlake (opposite Greenlake library) Has a swimming pool and there are lockers there.
