I lived 2 blocks from Green Lake for 21 years, and just went for a walk there today. It is much beloved, and there is always someone out there, even if it is snowing. It is lovely.

This is by far the best park in the area, its a very pleasant walk, with great views no matter where you are in the park.

Parking can be hard and there is a lot of traffic on the sidewalk that surrounds the lake. You can rent boats, golf, sunbathe, play tennis, playgrounds, basketball courts, play fields, etc.

It gets a little crowded on the weekends, but if you arrive running, the park is a perfect place for a 5K run!

This is a f=great park in the summertime. Lots of green grass to lay on, basketball courts, and you can go for a swim. Indoor playroom for the kids if it's raining.

Beautiful inner city walk, but beware, it is very busy! Just keep to the right. ;-) This is a great walk also with dogs or if you want to meet up with friends.
