We went there as a family with one child (4 years old) and paid $31.50 admission fee for the three of us. My child seems to like it okay and spent an hour in there but this is short compared to the time we spent at other better children museums. From my perspective, the place looks good in concept but... I really hate to do this. You know, to give a low rating to a kid's museum. But after thinking about it for days and I have to do this. We've been to children's museums in several cities in the western USA and this is the only one I'd rate below four stars. While I can see that the mini... More

It is not too expensive and my kids loved this place. There are so many things to do from when they start crawling to maybe until they go to school. It was an awesome place you could spend the whole day. If I would live in Seattle or in close proximity I would definitely buy a seasonal pass and go... More

This Museum is a really awesome resource. Seriously smart vibe, moving toward being better and better. This is a great space to bring your children... be prepared to engage and be a question asker. Visit often and stay long! The staff is really smart and welcoming. Special shout out to Amy, Devin and Jennifer!

We took our 5+ year old granddaughter here during her spring break from kindergarten. She loved it and had a great time playing in the many and varied areas in the museum. It's more of a stimulating and educational child's experience than a museum. The place has been used hard by lots of kids and needs a freshening up -... More

We spent the afternoon here with two toddlers, age 2 and nearly 4 and they had a blast and everyone left tired and satisfied. Most exhibits are probably best suited to kids in the 2-7 or 8 year old age range ("supermarket" shopping, cooking centers), although they do have a few things, like the craft center a a more complex... The Seattle Children's Museum is an embarrassment to the city and residents of Seattle. As I have explained in other reviews, our kids are homeschooled because we travel so often. Our extensive travel has afforded my kids the opportunity to visit children's museums in dozens, and dozens of cities across this country. Before I write my review I simply ask... More

My child loved every single room in this place. There was a place to ride a small cart. A building location, and I'm not talking legos, but with really screws, and wingnuts. There was a grocery store, where the kids had their own shopping cart, and were able to ring up each item, with a ipad that showed how much... More

I kinda feel this place should be called "The Toddler's Museum." We brought our 9 and a half year old and he was definitely too old for it. We didn't think it was particularly big. Someone there did a tornado class for kids and our kid was the only one and she did it anyway. The blonde girl with the... More

6 adults and 9 children in our group and we all had fun. Children ranged in age from 4 to 14 and they were all entertained in some way in every themed room. We spent a good 4 hours there and no one was bored. Lots to read and learn and even more great hands on stuff to experience and... More
