This park gives you a quiet place to relax. It has many hidden places. You can walk to Foster Island and the Montlake cut from there, with spectacular views of the Cascades and the Husky stadium.

We can't visit Seattle without visiting the arboretum. Many paved or graveled trails mean congestion-free meandering possible. Well placed benches mean respite from city noise. Mature specimens are an astonishing sight. The visitor center is so very helpful with questions, maps and current flowering plants....More

There's a very limited amount of parking inside the park. The largest lot is at the Japanese Tea Garden. There's another one over by the info center. The last "big" one is just north of the info center but may be closed... More
