I was kind of disappointed, nothing too exciting for young kids. The children's museum in Spokane is much more interactive and fun.

We are glad we got on the city bus (30 minute ride) to visit this zoo. The animals have a lot of space, the keepers are great to speak with - cute baby gorilla and baby giraffe! Loved watching the Egyptian tortoises eat their vegetables!

Throughly enjoyed our day at the Woodland Park Zoo. The zoo programs cater to all ages, but are especially geared to small children. Exhibits are well laid out. Be sure to bring your own food; it's expensive to eat here...a pretzel costs $7.00.

Want to get out of the house? This is a fantastic spot to take grandkids on a sunny summer day. My two grand daughters just loved the monkeys - and even the reptiles.

As far as zoos go, it was nice. Lots of birds and bugs. Lots of birds. The giraffes were cute. The orangutans were sad and trying to adjust. I felt bad for them. They covered themselves with a sheet or leaves to hide. Don't think...More

Good place to go with kids. Your kids will love you for it. Do see their theatre shows. Its amazing to see how well the animals and birds are trained. Can also go to the Rose Garden close by.

So, I have mixed feelings about zoos. If you are opposed to zoos on philosophical grounds, I have no argument with you. But, if you believe that captive animals have something to teach us and our children about nature, about conservation, about our responsibilities to...More

Well laid out zoo with plenty of different animals though not as many animals as you might think on initial impressions. Bit worried some of them don't have enough space - jaguar and elk in particular. Don't really go to zoos normally but glad I...More

we went to see Pat Benatar and Rick Springfield went on before her. Great concert. The Zoo was fun seeing the animals while we waited on the concert to start.

I would suggest to use Hippo parking lot. It is having good parking space and also, covering the zoo from this parking lot was lot easier for me, personally. 750 N. 50th Street Seattle, WA 98103. South Parking Lot. Hippo... More
