I spent a long afternoon walking around the waterfront and the Sculpture Garden. I decided to go to the path at the base of the Sculpture Garden and see where it led. I stopped at the Myrtle Edwards Park Pocket Beach. I had never heard of a "pocket" beach or garden, so I was interested to visit them during my... More

On my visit to Seattle, I set aside a day where I explored pieces of public artwork in Seattle. Even though there is a booklet that specifies where public art is, I just made my way through downtown. This wasn’t on my list to visit until I saw it from the harbour cruise I took with Argosy Cruise. From afar,... More

We went due to the proximity to the Sculpture Park and the waterfront. We were hoping to see some seals or birds, but found the park to be fairly barren. Good scenery with the waterfront and good for a run, but don't expect much else.

My wife took a lyft (less than $10 from Pike Market) to get a break from all the busyness at Pike Market. It has decent views but nothing really special. I can see this being nice on a bike ride. Kerry Park is definitely nicer.

Its a very peaceful place to walk or run. A separate path for bikes gives you the piece of mind that your safe. There is an old mill on the way with is very unique as you travel along the water front, there are some trees and the jog or walk is around 2.5 miles one way if you jog... More

Myrtle Edwards Park is a beautiful park to walk, bike, or jog along. My early morning exercise was a break from the hustle of the downtown. The views of the bay and the peaceful setting makes this park a must visit if you're staying downtown.

Myrtle Edwards Park is a one and a half mile walk/bike trail along the Elliott Bay section of Puget Sound. Walking through the beautiful park taking in the sights and movement on Puget Sound as well as viewing the Olympic Mts. is a lovely experience. Watch all types of boats navigate the sound. The park is adjacent to the Olympic... More

This park is a welcome break from the noise and activity of the big city, and it is just a walk away. Lying along Elliott Bay just north of downtown and west of the Space Needle, the park has places to sit and enjoy the view of the bay. Or you can take a stroll or bike and watch the... More

This is a small park located along Puget Sound. When the weather permits there are great views of the Olympics. You can walk down from either Pike Place market or the Sculpture garden very easily. I definitely recommend a visit.

This is an awesome place, right along the water with a bike/walking trail that leads to other wonderful places. We were so lucky to be there on a perfect blue-sky day and were able walk for miles enjoying the sights!
