We enjoyed walking along Alki Beach. It was a beautiful view. We even saw a Bald Eagle fly over us. They have many restaurants to stop by and have a bite to eat.

Alki sits across the water from Seattle's skyline and offers a view from the waterfront up. You can walk the sidewalk along the water for a long, long time, then stop at one of the restaurants across the street, many on the funky side. And,...More

Alki Beach is west of downtown Seattle. You can see the skyline of the city. This beach is a great place to stroll in the sand. Nearby are a few places to eat.

You don't have to pay a dime to drive over (or take a water shuttle) to Alki Beach. I do recommend carrying some cash because there are some great restaurants over there. The beach itself is beautiful with a great vantage point to see the...More

What an awesome place to take a date. To stroll along the beach while the sun is setting is one of the more romantic activities a couple can enjoy here in Seattle. There are many shops and eateries along the beach all of which are...More

Took the Water taxi to Alki Beach. Great view of the Seattle Skyline. Ate at Marination at the dock. Wonderful food and fun area. Did not shuttle to the Alki Beach but walked around the Dock area. Fun and worth the trip

We came out to this beach community in search of the closest Top Pot Donuts and, wow, were we surprised by how pretty this little beach community is. Yes, the donuts were good but we loved strolling the seawall and chatting with all the people...More

I visited at the end of October and despite the chilly weather Alki Beach was lovely. It wasn’t too crowded and it was nice seeing people walking their dogs and enjoying the day. There were many places to shop and eat or just get coffee....More

Alki Beach can be very crowded on nice days, but it's well worth the visit. This is the absolute best view of Seattle there is. I'm a native that now lives in Portland and have watched this skyline grow over the years. I've always been...More

We took a water taxi and rented bikes at that same spot. The ride to the Alki beach trail was short and safe :)

My boyfriend and I have walked our dogs randomly around midnight. We saw quite a bit of people walking around. But like anywhere I would watch for safety. When it gets warmer I expect there will be even more traffic.
