Gasworks Park was my absolute favorite thing we did on our trip! It might because I'm from NYC, and loved the peace and tranquility of the hilly park with vibrant green grass overlooking Lake Union and the Seattle skyline. We took a walk to Gasworks Park after visiting the Fremont Troll, and the Freemont Brewery. It was a sunny day... More

Great place to take the kids, fly kites and plenty of running space. Sit and watch sea planes take off and land. Beautiful place to see the Seattle skyline. Bring a jacket as it can be cool and windy being on the water.

My fiancé and I came here from walking and I was taken away from the sheer beauty of it! The views it offers is breathtaking! Everything was so lush and green! There were people getting ready for Earth day tomorrow which I thought was pretty cool!! Would love to come back and just hang at the park!

This is an imaginative city park - a creative use of an old industrial area. Paths make it a good place for walking or pushing strollers. There are picnic tables and lawn for lounging. The highest elevation is a good place for kite-flying. There is some play equipment but it is not primarily a playground.

It helps if you get to see this with someone that can tell you all about the history! It is really cool to see for people that like history.

This is our favorite park in the city. It's peaceful and beautiful with a stunning view of the city across the water. The old gasworks looks like a cool sculpture. Playground for the littles and a gorgeous hill for kite-flying.

Fantastic views, big hills to climb, fly a kite, rent a kayak, paddleboard. So many options in one place. They have grills and picnic areas you can reserve.

Make sure you take plenty of pictures of Seattle’s Skyline from a different angle. This park is fun to visit! Enjoy watching all the activity on Lake Union.

Took at youth group there for the first time and overall was disappointed since there was nothing for the kids to climb on, saw no good signage so nothing was learned, and it's at an out-of-the-way location. The good news was that the view from the top of the hill was gorgeous! We got to see a seaplane land too.... More
