About
The Amazon Spheres are a trio of majestic glass domes built as part of the Amazon headquarters in Seattle. These spheres house over 40,000 plants from across the world, a 60-foot-tall vertical garden that has 200 different species of plants, a massive fish tank, plus meeting and workspaces. The spheres are only open for public viewing on two days of the month; the free slots snap up fast so try to reserve your spot as soon as they become available (15 days before the date of viewing). Otherwise, you can try to spot the Seattle Spheres on a city tour of Seattle—they're hard to miss! – Tripadvisor

Great place if you love plants
The Spheres are definitely worth a quick stop, especially if it is your first time in Seattle. Or not the first one: I work a block away, and it is always a pleasure to drop in. The past few days, it's been a bit busier than usual, because of a rare species (Morticia, aka the corpse flower), blooming - which occurs only every 5-10 years and lasts for up to 48 h. Outside of the excitement around this event, the place offers some tranquility amidst lush greenery. If relevant, there is an inconspicuous bar in the building (Deep Dive), too. For non-Amazonian employees, a ticket reservation is required ahead of the visit.

    Beautiful gardens inside
I wanted to visit since my daughter was working as an intern for Amazon. It is beautiful on the outside as well as inside. There was a large variety of plants including a tall living wall. I really liked the plants inside picture frames as decor as well. Lots of tropical plants you don’t normally see in the states. There were spaces to sit down and relax. She told me she goes there sometimes to do some work on her laptop. Think it would be a great space to be in during the winter months.

We knew before we were in the area that the opening hours here are very limited so we were unable to see inside
That's such a shame because they look so interesting
The outside area is nicely done and you can access an audio for of outside

I was a little disappointed at the scale of the sphere given how much money I’ve spent at Amazon over the years nonetheless it was cool to look at

Happen to be in Seattle for one of the 2 Saturdays open to the public. Tickets must be reserved in advance. Building is super cool from the outside, we enjoyed walking through all the levels of the buildings but man is it humid in there. Obviously since it's a greenhouse, but I can't begin to imagine being dressed in office attire and trying to work in that humidity :)! We were there about 45 minutes, fun stop.

A friend who works at Amazon took us in on a weekday afternoon. The setting was nice, and it was good to see a wide variety of plants. I am not sure if they limit the numbers of attendees, but when we were there it was not very crowded which was nice, since it gave us more room to enjoy the plants at a more leisurely pace. It was a pleasant experience overall and the setting was nice. Many of the plants were labelled; unfortunately it is hard to figure out which was the plant in question based on just the name. There were lots of guides who were quite willing to answer questions but there must be a more effective way of educating the visitors about the plants. Overall it was a rather enjoying experience
