For one of the best views of Seattle head to Kerry Park, a small park located on the south side of Queen Anne Hill.  A photo from here is Seattle postcard-perfect, featuring ferries crossing Elliott Bay, the city skyline with the Space Needle in the forefront and, if weather conditions are favorable, a view of Mt. Rainier.

Kerry Park gives one of the amazing views of the city, with even the space needle in the background. I would suggest going once during the day time and once during night to get a view of the lit up city as well.

This is the place to see THE classic Seattle skyline. Other viewing places are the Space Needle or Columbia centre but the view from here is by far the best. It's not a large expanse of greenery but better described as a wide pavement on...More

Visited Kerry Park due to TripAdvisor reviews. Definitely one of highlights of Seattle trip, and it is free to do. GPS programmed, and beautiful neighbourhood that the park is in. You really get to see those neighbourhoods and houses that you see on TV shows...More

This little park has the perfect lookout point for a few of downtown Seattle. Easy to get to, just be prepared for a lot of uphill walking if you choose to walk from downtown. Snapped some great photos and just hung out before hoping on...More

Pretty small park with difficult parking, but has the best overall view of Seattle. We got some awesome pictures.

This is the perfect location to watch the sun set over Seattle. Easy and quick to get to with adequate street parking and good vantage points for all people. On a clear day you can also catch a glimpse of the mountains in the distance.

Lovely area, beautiful view! Loved walking my dog around this beautiful neighborhood at sunset. Get out of the hustle n bustle of downtown for a great panorama of the city and Mt Rainier.

If you don't get the change to take a ferry to one of the surrounding islands, Kerry Park would be a great alternative to check out Seattle's beautiful city skyline. This is more a look out point than a park. We went at night and...More

Worth it. Favor the right side of the park and arrive at dusk when the city lights turn on. At night you lose Rainier. During the day, the cranes will distract from your image.
