For one of the best views of Seattle head to Kerry Park, a small park located on the south side of Queen Anne Hill.  A photo from here is Seattle postcard-perfect, featuring ferries crossing Elliott Bay, the city skyline with the Space Needle in the forefront and, if weather conditions are favorable, a view of Mt. Rainier.

Gorgeous view of Seattle skyline with Mount Rainier on cloudless days! A gentle hike up hill if you are navigating the city on foot & bus, swing by Molly Moon on Glacier St (~5 blocks away) afterwards!

In a quiet Queen Anne neighborhood on top of a long hill. I walked but many drove. Hey folks, if you are in shape, get out of the car and walk, it's good for you.

There are many quality parks in Seattle, but of course Kerry has the wonderful post card overlook. It's not difficult to find, just time your stop in wisely. It's a small park, obviously focusing on the hillside view. Enjoy it!

Gorgeous homes on the way up to the park. It has such a great view of the city down to the harbor. Beautiful place for photos.

LOVE Kerry Park. It's got amazing views and it's in a quiet little Queen Anne neighborhood. It's worth the drive to get a truly unique view of the city unlike any other.

Amazing view of Seattle, the Sound and, if you are lucky, Mt Rainier in a lovely park. Walk another block or two to see the cruise ships when they are in port. Best of all it's free!

It's worth it to see Seattle from this small park. It's a different view from the Space Needle, but a good one, none the less. Especially if you want to experience all things Seattle.

This park has great panaramic views of Seattle! If you're looking for a terrific photo of the space needle or want an incredible back drop for a family portrait, this is a nice space.

This park is very small, basically just a little patch of grass. The key is that it holds an absolutely beautiful view of downtown Seattle. It's worth a stop if you're nearby. However, I wouldn't make a special trip. Also, we had some frustration dealing...More

I'm reading different opinions re how good the view is. I'm interested in getting the iconic photo with space needle and Mt Rainier. Is this possible or do trees, etc obstruct?

Worth it. Favor the right side of the park and arrive at dusk when the city lights turn on. At night you lose Rainier. During the day, the cranes will distract from your image.

I think there's a bus stop nearby. I recommend using Google Maps. There's always Uber. I would NOT recommend walking from Lower Queen Anne, because the hill is VERY steep. It's a very small park with some play equipment. The... More
