Our recent Alaska cruise was highlighted by a stopover in Skagway taking a beautiful river float trip. Our guide Joe Stephenson seemed to know every detail and sight on the river. Things I would have missed without a great guide. We chose to not hike...More

This was a wonderful adventure. Our guide Bob has an encyclopedic knowledge of the history and wildlife and flora of the area, and an infectious appreciation for the beauty you'll be visiting. On the drive to the trailhead he stopped the van and let the...More

I'd wanted to do this for years, and this trip did not disappoint! We started with a short drive out to the Chilkoot Trail head. The two mile hike was a little strenuous, with some ups and downs. If you walk at all, the trek...More

Thanks for taking the time this winter to write your review for our tour last summer. We are glad you enjoyed the adventure on the Chilkoot Trail and Taiya River!

Our guide Brooke led us on a short walk at the start of the White Pass trail over which thousands of hopeful gold prospectors and more than a few less well-intentioned men and women made their way up into the Yukon during the Gold Rush...More

We booked the Triple adventure tour (bike, hike, float) through Alaska Shore Excursions. The first part, biking, is handled by Sockeye Cycle Co. After the 5 mile ride you meet up with the Alaskan Float Tour Co. for the hiking and rafting portion. The hike...More

This was one of my favourite activities in Alaska - it also helped that we had the most beautiful sunny day! We booked the tour directly through their website before we headed off on our cruise and was met at the port in Skagway by...More

Thinking of doing this tour but not really fit, so can I take my time on the hike as I am slow going up & down steps and would hate to hold everyone up .What age is suitable as I am in my late 60's. Should I just do the float tour?
