Our favorite shop in all of Skagway! Definitely a must stop while shopping in port. There are so many jewelry shops but this was the most unique and absolutely gorgeous pieces. Although the jewelry is beautiful, we were drawn in by the display of Egyptian items. Our kids love mythology and Mohamed was wonderful. He asked them questions, told them stories, showed them how things were made and he has some pretty amazing bespoke items as well. My son (who hates to shop) was fascinated and it was a highlight of shopping in downtown Skagway.

So you are on a cruise to Alaska and are looking for a nice piece of jewelry to commemorate your trip, right? Well how do you decide on a jewlery store when in Skagway when there are so many jewelers on your trip? I will tell you! For me it comes down to customer service and Klondike Gold Rush Jewels is the best of the best with service and excellence! My wife and I were on a Holland American cruise and decided to stop in to KGR (Klondike Gold Rush) with the intent of just browsing until we met Mohamed! Mohamed manages KGR and went above and beyond for me and will now be a lifelong Friend! I bought a ring for myself in his shop and he was very reasonable with pricing. I made it back to Florence South Carolina, which is the other side of the nation from Mohamed and he could have just brushed off my minor sizing issue BUT he rose to the occasion! Mohamed personally called me after I emailed him. Afterwards we talked through options and he actually sent me a replacement ring from Skagway Alaska to Florence South Carolina. I can not be happier with the person Mohamed is and that is what truly makes a company, the people that run it. So when you are thinking of fine jewelry and were in the same boat as me trying to decide where to go, the answer is in the name Klondike Gold Rush Jewelers where the staff will rush to make you look and feel like Gold! Thank you Mohamed for the best customer service and friendliness!

Mohammed was amazing. I walking in just looking to find a matching piece for a ring I currently have. He found exactly what I was looking for. I ended up walking out with my pendant and so happy with my purchase. I strongly recommend visiting this store.

We really enjoyed the patient staff that explained everything. We learned about Alaskan jewlery. It was worth the stop.

The service was great! Mo had the Tanzanite earrings gold plated at no extra charge. The Ammolite pieces were very large and beautiful in color. I was very happy! I recommend this friendly local store, in Alaska, very much.

We had a great day in Skagway. I always look for one special ring on every cruise, and found the perfect one at Klondike Gold Rush Jewels. The owners were very gracious and knowledgeable. I was impressed with not only their inventory, but also the no-pressure shopping experience.
I highly recommend this store when you port or visit Skagway! Thank you Mo and Rog for making our stop in Skagway memorable!

Beautiful jewelry. My husband wanted to buy me some nugget jewelry, well this was the place. Met Mohammed and Roger very very nice persons and found a beautiful set of Whale Tails with little diamonds earrings, necklace, ring and bracelet very stunning white gold/24K with nugget flakes just beautiful. No pressure sales easy shopping. Have gotten a lot of nice comments on this jewelry and wear it everyday!

I checked all the jewellery shops in Skagway and found Klondike Gold Rush Jewels to have individual and interesting pieces. I found the perfect ring that I had been looking for all cruise and Mo and Roger ensured that my experience was a very happy and easy one. Recommend them to anyone visiting Skagway
