So you are on a cruise to Alaska and are looking for a nice piece of jewelry to commemorate your trip, right? Well how do you decide on a jewlery store when in Skagway when there are so many jewelers on your trip? I will tell you! For me it comes down to customer service and Klondike Gold Rush Jewels is the best of the best with service and excellence! My wife and I were on a Holland American cruise and decided to stop in to KGR (Klondike Gold Rush) with the intent of just browsing until we met Mohamed! Mohamed manages KGR and went above and beyond for me and will now be a lifelong Friend! I bought a ring for myself in his shop and he was very reasonable with pricing. I made it back to Florence South Carolina, which is the other side of the nation from Mohamed and he could have just brushed off my minor sizing issue BUT he rose to the occasion! Mohamed personally called me after I emailed him. Afterwards we talked through options and he actually sent me a replacement ring from Skagway Alaska to Florence South Carolina. I can not be happier with the person Mohamed is and that is what truly makes a company, the people that run it. So when you are thinking of fine jewelry and were in the same boat as me trying to decide where to go, the answer is in the name Klondike Gold Rush Jewelers where the staff will rush to make you look and feel like Gold! Thank you Mohamed for the best customer service and friendliness!

Our favorite shop in all of Skagway! Definitely a must stop while shopping in port. There are so many jewelry shops but this was the most unique and absolutely gorgeous pieces. Although the jewelry is beautiful, we were drawn in by the display of Egyptian items. Our kids love mythology and Mohamed was wonderful. He asked them questions, told them stories, showed them how things were made and he has some pretty amazing bespoke items as well. My son (who hates to shop) was fascinated and it was a highlight of shopping in downtown Skagway.

Magical experience, Mohammad has a beautiful shop with unique and bespoke pieces. We ended up in his shop completely by fate. Highly recommend. Had our rings sized within an hour!

They have an excellent staff and great customer service. I had to get a ring resized and it was perfectly done in 30 minutes. No hard sales pitch. They’re very friendly and don’t look down on customers like some of the chain stores do. I would highly recommend.

Mohammed was amazing. I walking in just looking to find a matching piece for a ring I currently have. He found exactly what I was looking for. I ended up walking out with my pendant and so happy with my purchase. I strongly recommend visiting this store.

On a recent cruise to Alaska, I fell in love with the Northern Lights stone. I looked all over at every port for the perfect ring and finally found it here at Klondike. Mohamed and Roger were so kind, genuine and knowledgeable. They sold me a beautiful piece of excellent quality at a very fair price. I recommend them to anyone who wants to bring home a treasure from Skagway!

We went into the store and immediately was welcomed by Mohamed. He was very helpful and we found the perfect watch for my other half. Out of all the jewelry places in Skagway, this is the place to go!!!!!

My husband and I wanted to take a look in here and we were greeted by the owner. He was happy to let us browse and I did not intend on buying anything but I found a necklace and tried it on and loved it! We really enjoyed the connection with Mohammad and his genuine interest in our story and getting to know us. Its a fun treat to buy a beautiful necklace and Mohammad helped in that experience!
