A must do -- and don't forget to ask for Ron!
We took the winter kayaking sesh with Ron Marsh, and he was absolutely the best guide ever! His humor, fun-loving spirit, and his extensive knowledge of the Alaska fjord, the wildlife, and his navigational prowess left us with a very memorable experience with 1) being snuck up on by a harem of sea lions so loud we thought we were being trailed by a whale (!!) and 2) being SO close to the sea otters as they couch-potatoed their ways along the surf and rolled around, as just a few. We learned so much, and saw so many critters up close that this trip goes down in our memory banks for a long time. :)

    Absolutely Perfect.
This was my first ever trip to Alaska and the staff at Millers Landing made it a memorable one. Myself and 7 other Veterans came here for 2 days of fishing with some other friends as part of a Veteran Non-profit group from The Fallen Outdoors. The lodging had amazing views and had all of the amenities that we could ask for. The fishing was amazing. The Boat Captains & deck hands took care of everything and ensured that we were catching fish throughout the trip. The Café had hot coffee, local beer, and food all readily available. The entire staff was amazing and I am already trying to plan another trip. This place is absolutely amazing.

    Great kayak experience
We were a part of a very large group (~30-35 people) who were doing an outing after a wedding in the area. Miller's Landing did an amazing job of coordinating and transporting the whole group and kayaks to a cove about 30-40 minutes away (in additional to a ton of pre-work and planning for a group our size). Our guides: Ron, Rylee, Elora, Mary, Mitch, and Jaxson did a great job guiding us and keeping our group together. Highly recommend Miller's Landing!

    Amazing Northwestern Fjords Kayaking
We had the most amazing experience kayaking the Northwestern Fjord. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and our guide Mitch was informative about the different glaciers and animals. While we were in a group tour setting, the trip itself was very intimate due to the fact that we were the only people around. It truly felt like we were getting the best experience possible in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Definitely the best way to see Northwestern.

    Alaska fishing!!!! Amazing #bucketlist
We stayed on night in a Yurt before we headed out for fishing the next day. 1- we loved our night in the Yurt it was so much fun. 2- we did the all day fishing trip on The Fat Willie with Captain Paul and Clay. The day started off a little slow with the catching of fish but still had amazing views. By the end of the day we caught our max in Halibut and Rock Fish and topped ode day by seeing Orcas!!!! I would definitely recommend booking your fishing trip thru millers landing

Ron is the best tour guide!
We did the Full Day Across the Bay Paddle and it was absolutely amazing! Our tour guide (Ron) was knowledgeable and passionate, and he made it the best experience even with all of the rain we had during our tour. This was the best and most memorable experience of our vacation.

    Amazing Day Kayaing!
We did a full day kayaking in Aialik Bay and had an absolutely fabulous time! We lucked out and had a gorgeous sunny day...could not have planned that but it worked out! Ron(da) and Claire were our guides and did a superb job! They were very knowledgeable about the area/wildlife and made the day very comfortable & enjoyable. This day was a highlight of my trip to AK and I would do a full day of kayaking with Miller's Landing again in a heartbeat! Don't hesitate...it is so worth it!

    Great Kayaking Experience
We caught a ride on the water taxi and spent the morning kayaking with Jason and Claire as our guides in Humpy Cove. It was breathtakingly beautiful and such a great experience. Both guides were so calm with our large group ranging in age from 10 to 81. The sea wall was a wonder to behold and Claire and Jason were so knowledgeable about the area and the sea life. Highly recommend!

    Perfect Paddle to Aialik Glacier
Our trip to Seward start off a bit rough with another Kayaking company canceling our trip and offering us no opportunity to reschedule. We quickly searched the web and found Millers landing, and luckily they had availability for the next day. At that moment we had no idea how lucky we got. The Millers landing Kayaking team specifically Mitch and Jason take kayaking to Aialik glacier to a whole new level. When you book a trip with them you know that you’ll get out on the water before any other tour group and stay on the water later than them as well. Not only did we get up close and personal with the glacier but they also guided us across an ice field and into Abra pass which I do not believe any other tour groups get to do. I can not stress enough how great Mitch and Jason were in helping us create memories that will last a lifetime.

Simply the best! I booked the private charter for my proposal and it was the most perfect day. Truly a unforgettable experience. I can’t speak highly enough of the Millers Staff. They are the best and I hope one day we get to return and do the same charter. The places we were able to see/visit on the charter were otherworldly to a city boy from Florida. Alaska is an incredible place. Thank you all!

Rented a boat for a self captained trip around the bay fishing for halibut. It was a cold and rainy day but the bay was beautiful and we managed to see a lot of dolphins popping about. We managed to catch quite a few rockfish, some halibut and cod. overall a good trip that id do again, just be prepared for the weather so that you are comfortable.

My wife and I drove to Seward for a Saturday trip. We had long discussed hiking to Caines Head to explore the fort. What always gave us pause was dealing with the tides and risking getting stuck if we didn’t time the tides correctly. When we saw this trip and the idea of kayaking there, we jumped.
Jason was an amazing guide. He took the time to make sure we were safe, show us the ropes, and make the day special. I would 100 percent recommend this trip and asking for Jason. We made memories that we will remember forever and this was easily the best money I spent all summer.

Really had a fantastic time, lucky enough to have the guide and boat to ourselves which made for an even better experience. Fishing was great, and Dustin filleted our fish for us! Rylee knew all the right places for kayaking and viewing the glacier! It’s a must for your Alaskan adventure, 10/10 recommend

Ron was a great kayaking guide, he is a fun and knowledgeable guy. He set up a paddling plan that introduced us to Aialik Bay and the progression of the environment from a glaciated landscape to a vegetated landscape. We got to see wildlife and multiple glaciers. Ron worked with us to develop a paddling plan and adapted the paddling plan to our group’s needs by adding mileage to see additional sights. Ron showed us his favorite parts of Aialik Bay. Ron kept us well fed to fuel our paddling and always had snacks and warm drinks available. Ron was a great addition to our group and made this a special event on our trip.

Our group went on a 3-day, 2-night kayaking expedition with Ron, and we had a great time! Ron was super knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and he tailored our trip itinerary to suit or interests and ability level (adding extra miles and stops). He also set our course to slowly unveil the drama of the glaciers, rather than just showing them all at once. All around a great guide!

Took a 3 day, 2 night paddle with Ron as our guide through Aialik Bay and it was a phenomenal experience. He planned a great route for us when we thought we were inexperienced kayakers and then modified on the go as we proved better than we thought. We got to see ALOT of wildlife, do unique hikes, get amazing views of the glaciers and spend time viewing glaciers and experiencing all the bay had to offer. Ron had great meals prepared for us, always ready with hot coco or coffee, and many comforts we wouldn’t have normally had. The way he took also built suspense of what was around the next bend, or had big reveals like when we saw the glacier which was a pretty cool effect. His knowledge of the fjord, wildlife and the Alaska area is pretty impressive - as well as his desire to learn more if he didn’t know the answer. His jokes were pretty good too. Miller’s communicated well, had great equipment, and provided some extras that I never would have thought of before doing a paddle trip (great extra seat cushions!). Would definitely recommend Miller’s to friends looking to do a trip like this.

Our group enjoyed the overnight camping/kayak trip to Aialik Bay in Kenai Fjords National Park. The trip was amazing. Our guides Ron, Jason and Rylee did an excellent job to make sure our trip was perfect. I will admit camping in tents in the middle of a huge park with no utilities or facilities was out of my comfort zone. But I am so glad our group took this trip. It was my favorite part of our vacation to Alaska. We camped across the bay with the beautiful view of Aialik Glacier. We took the kayaks out several times and enjoyed seeing the wildlife and beautiful scenery. Definitely an experience that I would recommend to others.

e did their glacier kayak tour. Very professional team who checked us in and got us going. The entire tour was about 6 hours on the kayak and it took us about 2 hours to get to the North West glacier. On our way to and from the glacier we saw Orcas, the boat captain Tom Miller graciously slowed down and turned the boat in the orcas direction for us to have some brilliant sightings.

We were dropped off on an awesome beach where our tour guide Jackson Rose setup all of our equipment in record time, made sure we had our breakfast burritos he bought for us and had us eat on our way. He pointed out loads of marine life ( seals, sea stars, barnacle, jelly fish etc) and got us to another beach where we had our first view of the northwest glacier. We were very impressed with this young man’s professionalism, ethic and hard work to keep us safe and our bellies full along with keeping us entertained and happy. He was also very knowledgeable about glaciers , sea creatures and answered any and everything we could think of and ask him. He even went above and beyond to accommodate a birthday for someone on our tour group and had donuts with candles ready during lunch.

We had lunch here for about and hour after which we headed closer to the glacier where we had some amazing views of ice falls , waterfalls and the magnificent glacier itself.
