This glacier is very close to the water. It is beaytiful. We saw it from a bay cruise and it looked spectaculat but they didnt get us close enough for a good picture.

Took an early morning heli-kayak trip out there. Highly recommend. Totally surreal paddling amongst giant icebergs and seals. Glacier so huge you can't really get an idea of how big it is. Go with an experienced guide.

My husband and I hiked with Alex, our guide with Adventure 60 North. The hike up to the glacier was moderate in terms of elevation gain and quite lovely with excellent views of the glacier. The hike on the glacier was nicely facilitated by Alex,...More

We went with Liquid Adventures and they did not disappoint. A 1 hour boat ride, where the guide looked for wildlife, to Bear Glacier where LOTS of icebergs surrounded us for 2-3 hours kayaking. Surreal beauty and a unique experience. LA provided rain gear, gloves...More

It is necessary to take a boat, plane or helicopter to see Bear Glacier; my wife and I went with friends on their boat. The trip to and from the glacier affords numerous opportunities to see Alaskan wildlife (seals, whales, sea lions, otters, etc.), and...More

Definitely worth taking a tour/cruise. It gets cold near the glaciers so bundle up like Kenny from South Park and enjoy the views!

Best excursion we've ever been on. Our Guide Jarrod was excellent. It was surreal to paddle around glaciers. Jarrod even recommended Kincaid Park in Anchorage to spot moose. We went 2 days later and saw two moose. Thanks so much. The Smiths

We used Liquid Adventures to take a guided kayak trip at Bear Glacier. They took us from Seward to the glacier by jet boat - an amazing experience in itself. But then kayaking in and among all the icebergs was just indescribable! We saw one...More

First I highly recommend kayaking Bear glacier lake , the experience is unbelievable , but the location is not that easy to get to. You cannot hike there. We did look into taking a boat there, there is one company that does... More
