Even in the misty Alaskan rain this is an absolute must see! Glaciers, wildlife, boats, the harbor, so much to see in such a huge bay. There are many stores, tour companies, roads to walk, even a camp ground!

It would be a shame to visit Alaska by cruise ship, train, or car and not visit Seward. The bay is beautiful and taking a cruise through the bay and even further out is not to be missed.
Very nice place to visit. Seen lots of wild life. Took a cruise across the bay. Can't deny the existence of God after visiting a place like this
Beautiful scenery and a great way to start our cruise. Loved the peaceful feeling and wonderful clean smell as we set sail into the inside passage.
We stayed on Lowell Point and went out on a day of whale watching that took us the length of Resurrection Bay (separate reviews for lodging and boat trip). So glad we extended our cruise to visit this gorgeous place.
I took a cruise out to Northwestern Fjord, and we spent quite a bit of time touring Resurrection Bay before heading out. We saw plenty of sea otters and humpback whale, and on the return trip, we saw seals and sea lions in the bay....More
Your first view of Resurrection Bay will absolutely take your breath away. A must see for anyone who loves wide open space, blue water and views that go on forever, framed by gigantic snow and glacier covered mountains.
This is one of the highlights of Seward! It is a beautiful boat ride. Look for the excursion that stops at Fox Island!
