We drove so it was about an hour away from Prague and definitely worth the trip. It's not big so you won't need a lot of time but the place was impressive. We didn't hire a guide but luckily a tourist group was there and...More

We took the train from Prague to visit the Ossuary and Kutna Hora ( Lady on information desk was very helpful and printed out a timetable of all the trains ). The Ossuary is quite small and takes less than 1/2 an hour but it's...More

It's a small hall but it's very impressive definitely worth the one hour drive from Prague. Although you come out after 10 maybe 15 minutes, is something you have to see. Don't forget to go to the St. Barbara's church which is 3 km away.

Impressive quantity of real human bones used as decoration and art. This is quite morbid when you keep in mind the thing that these bones were from humans like you and me.. But the bone's church is definitely a spectacular must see close to Praha.

We stopped here on the way from Prague to Poland. It was an interesting site to see. Outside of the Chapel had a lot of neat gravemarkers to observe. Inside the Chapel was neat to see, but it was cold and lighting was poor. I'm...More

There really isn't that much to see and do at Kutna Hora other than the Bone Chapel/Sedlec Ossuary. The trip there is easy enough DIY (buy a train ticket, which is down right cheap, to Kutna Hora Mesto, and push a green button to be...More

Simply put, this is a must see. On par with the Paris Catacombes. The trip out to Kutna Hora is easy enough. You don't need to spend lots of money on tours as it's pretty cheap to do it yourself. You need to take three...More

The"church of skeletons" is an hour drive from Prague. From the outside, the church doesn't seem like much but inside is a different story. Filled with the skeletons 60,000 people it really is an amazing one of a kind attraction. It's small, you can spend...More

The Sedlec Chapel/Ossuary is one of the most interesting places I've ever been to. All the different arrangement of over 40,000 skeletons was both thoroughly impressive and quite morbid as well. I've never seen anything like this!

Heard a lot about this chapel. It was very impressive to finally see it. Unbelievable! Also a little bit creepy.

Hire a car! The rates are favourable, and Prague is not a big city to escape from. It's very easy to travel to Sedlec independently. Enjoy your time in beautiful Czech!
