We had a great experience with this company. We called morning of and were the last ones to take the remaining spots. The ladies who helped book it couldn't have been nicer. We were a party of 9. Ages ranged from 3 to 70. Everyone...More

Went on morning breakfast/lunch snorkeling trip to Captain Cook monument site with my eight year old. We both had a great time seeing tons of fish and he loved the water slides and diving platform on the boat. The food was better than expected and...More

Our family had a wonderful day snorkeling with Fair Wind! Although the boat carried a lot of people, the crew had outstanding organizational skills and made sure that everyone got their equipment, breakfast and lunch quickly and easily. The reef we visited had abundant sea...More

I highly recommend the afternoon Kealakekua baycruise, especially if you don't swim or afraid of deep waters like me. They have plenty of floatation devices on their vessel, in my case i used both the inner tube and the belt just to be extra cautious....More

We booked the afternoon snorkeling trip and rode a catamaran for 45 minutes to a protected cove. The corral reef was right below the surface and we were provided with snorkeling equipment that worked very well. The catamaran also had two slides and a high...More

This was one of the best snorkel boats I've tried. One tip I'll offer is that we were on the site for 1 hour and 20 minutes. With kind of cold water (to us) we did two 30 minute snorkels with a break in between....More

This is our second trip on the FairWind. We loved it just as much this time. Great breakfast, fun crew, plenty of seating and the best snorkel spot. Lunch is great too and my kids had a blast on the slides and the high jump....More

Did the afternoon snorkel and snack cruise. Staff were so helpful, kind and patient, especially Andy! His calm demeanour enabled someone petrified of the water to have a first time ever experience in the ocean!

We are considering afternoon cruise but concerned with how many people are on the boat. Do you have a nice snorkeling experience with all those people right next to you? Is the snorkel gear included? Thanks so much!

Aloha, Our afternoon cruise typically has fewer people than our morning trip. Whether the cruise is sold out or not is dependent on the time of year - any school breaks or the days surrounding any major holiday tend to be... More

Hello. I see that your review said you did the afternoon Kealakekua Bay. I've been trying to decide between the AM and the PM cruise. I heard the morning has more wildlife and fish to view and that it can be a little warmer because afternoons can get a little cloudy. Were you well pleased with the amount fish/dolphins/whales you saw and did you think it was any cooler in the afternoon? Thank you.

Aloha, Fortunately, regardless of weather, the amount of marine life is the same morning vs. afternoon. Typically in Kona, the clouds roll over the mountain in the afternoon and can cause overcast weather conditions... More

We're planning a morning snorkel on the Fair Wind II and was wondering if they have lockers to safely store items. On their web page they suggested bringing a camera, but I would be hesitant to bring it if I couldn't lock it up. Thanks in advance!
