Went out and saw tons of Manta's! Incredible experience, and the crew was delightful. Fun, nice, and had lots of information to share. Wetsuits are a must, pay the extra money to get them.

Captain Rob and Lucas were both great hosts. Calm, friendly and experienced. Manta night dive is a must. Benefit of Big Island divers is that they use white light, not colored light like the other boats. This makes for better photos.

Was it easy to float inside the water? My husband and myself know how to swim but are not good with the floating part.We have scheduled manta ray snorkel today with big island divers and was wondering if they provide anything to hold onto once we are inside the water. We want to definitively do this but have a little anxiety since we don't know to stay flat inside the water. Please guide us.Thanks.

They provide you with a wet suit that will help you float. Also they have a a surfboard with a lighting rig on it that you will hold on to. It will be one of the best experiences of your life!

everyone, Do you have to be an advanced diver for the night manta dive? We are visiting in July 2017. My husband is a fairly new diver. Has done only one dive after the certification. I plan to snorkel with the night manta charter, but my husband is unsure if he has enough skills for the night dive considering he doesn't have much diving experience yet.

Besides the manta night dive, what are some other must-do dives/locations you recommend on the big island in June? And also any suggestions on top dive sites on Oahu in June? Thank you in advance...

Definitely the Dark Water dive; a truly unique diving experience. Three miles off the coast, diving in the bottomless, suspended on a line you'll see a parade of strange, small creatures streaming up from the pelagic zone... More
