There’s many reasons why the Keauhou Village Shopping Center is consistently chosen as one of the best places on the Big Island of Hawaii: You can get anything needed here! There’s multiple yummy eateries, art galleries, a great independent bookstore, clothing shops, and a multiplex movie theater as well. The KTA grocery store here makes the best poke (you gotta try their Korean marlin poke, absolutely ono and our favorite hands down). There’s a Long’s Drugstore for sundries, beach gear, etc too. Be sure to check out the interpretive center to learn about the important history of the Keauhou area, and find out info regarding the famous Hawaiian slide down the lava slope built nearby (very cool indeed!). Enjoy!

We were looking for shopping to do at the island. This place was a disappointment and waste of time.

I occasionally stop at this Subway in Keauhou Hawaii.., the last visit was the last.., went in Eve , order the so called Pastrami 12” on Italian bread. A man named Eddie waited on me he was rude and at the same time socializing with some of his friends sitting in the dine in area. Well the pastrami was mostly fat & the cheese had mold spores & too top it off the lettuce was horrible ~ brown in color. The store had water leaks on the floor filthy floors & the store front windows were filthy.., beware this place is horrible & I felt sick 1/2 hour later.., what ever happened to management & consistently.., this isn’t it… i well call the health department.., this time. Customers beware❗️

1. KTA has fresh local fish (ono, ahi) and Japanese delights and all sorts of lovely one-off items such as Pt. Reyes blue cheese and organic arugula and Japanese gins. It's fun just cruising the air-conditioned aisles.
2. The Saturday farmers market is not to be missed especially if you are hankering after organic produce.
3. Jams World sales
4. Kenichi bento boxes - get the miso cod OMG
5. There's a Longs (good liquor prices if they have what you want)

I usually don't indulge, but hey - it's vacation and these donuts are worth the time travel and expense. You've made it all the way to Hawaii. Go stand in one more line and get a fresh baked donut or two.

Located in scenic Keauhou, this shopping center offers everything that’s needed for kama’aina and visitors both :)). The KTA grocery has really ono poke, Musubis, and fresh made deli items, plus the full array of picnic supplies as well... a Long’s Drugs, urgent care clinic, bookstore, art galleries, and eateries are also found here too. We always visit the Farmer’s Market on Saturdays (8a-12p) for awesome local veggies, fruits, baked goods, flowers, and other unique products — in terms of variety and selections, this is one of the best markets on the Big Island. And when the Covid pandemic is over, we are looking forward to the weekly performances by the talented young ladies from the Island’s hula schools ... if you are heading to the southern area, stop here for your trip needs! Enjoy :))

The KTA market here is awesome. We needed some lunch to go and the custom sandwiches were huge and fresh. They also had a little sushi bar so we picked up some rolls for the road. A lot of local foods including poke meant that we bought way more food than we needed but hey, we ate it all as we traveled the Kona Coast. Highly recommend, and only 6 miles up from the Waikoloa resorts along the beach.

This is a great shopping center that has everything you need, grocery store, drug store, places to eat. A big perk is the FREE Hawaiian show every Friday at 6pm. This is a great show, not just some people practicing, and different groups every Friday. I saw the 4th Friday group last week, and they were awesome! Going again this week. You can get there by trolley too---only $2 each way.

If you’re heading south of town — or are staying in the Keauhou area — then this shopping complex is the place to get all of your groceries, picnic supplies, beach gear, etc... there’s a nice KTA Market (with awesome Musubis and fresh made poke, plus other yummies), a Long’s Drugstore, L&L Cafe, Regal cineplex, urgent care facility, and a number of good eateries too. We especially like the Farmer’s Market, held here on Saturday mornings — arrive early for the best selection of local fruits, veggies, fish, and prepared foods/beverages (and enjoy your purchases while listening to live music too). Also check out the hula performances on Friday evenings (6pm), featuring young dancers from hula schools across the Island (please make a contribution to help defray their travel expenses)... and also take a look at the interpretive displays inside the cultural center, to learn about the importance of Keauhou to the Native Hawaiians (including the giant “slide” atop the lava flows, used by intrepid folks to ride downhill sans snow). Enjoy!

This shopping centre has an elevated position and from the car park there are beautiful ocean views. The shopping centre is well equipped, with car and bike parking, a large KTA supermarket, cafes, a bank, a medical centre and various specialty stores.
