Was surprised to find this coffee farm is in a cloud forest! Beautiful misting while we were there. Since we came from a dry climate State, this was a treat. Tour was inside buildings or covered areas, so don't let rain deter you. It's a...More

We arrived at the plantation in a heavy rainy afternoon. After we parked our car, waiting for the rain to subside, we noticed that someone with a huge umbrella quietly stood a meter away from the car. One of the staffs saw us driving by...More

We did the free tour. This was a very informative tour. We learned a lot and I’m a more informed coffee consumer. You can purchase coffee after the tour and sign up for a monthly coffee delivery, but there is no pressure from the staff...More

We just happened upon the farm while roaming around the Island. We were offered a free tour. We shopped in the coffee shop and did some sampling and took home some coffee chocolates and beautiful mugs.

New owners in the last year. They meet you when arrive and offer free tours. The gift shop carries different items from the past. More coffee selections and teas. There are plenty of samples.

We toured this plantation in Kona 5 years ago and fell in love with the robust yet smooth natural coffee bean. A beautiful drive up and a satisfying sip to go back down! Happy Campers!!!!!!!!!!

The plantation is cute but definitely not worth the price of a cap. The tour is short and they do not take you into the coffee fields. You would be spending your money to get to the gift shop and you can buy coffee almost... More

Mountain Thunder Coffee Plantation's ownership changed in April of 2017. The previous owner has no connection to the farm. Mountain Thunder coffee is available at the farm and online at Mountain Thunder's website.
