Learn many interesting things about John Muir's life. The Park Rangers were friendly & helpful to answering our questions. We were allowed to walk through John Muir's home and the surrounding property. The adobe house also had a wealth of early California history information.

We visited the park on a beautiful sunny day. The trees are spectacular. You can't believe how tall and big around they are. Would have liked to do a little more hiking. Not too strenuous. Parking is tough.

John Muir is often described as the father of the National Parks, so it is appropriate that his home is administered by the NPS. There are a lot of interesting artefacts and information panels, but I most enjoyed soaking in the atmosphere of the place...More
