Lots of interesting stops and attractions. The Smugglers restaurant is also a good stop. Large parking area as you'll likely stay for a while.

I travelled this road some time back, 1984, the views were stunning and I would recommend it to all. I expect that it would still be an excellent drive.

Rode this in 2014 as part of a motorcycle tour to Italy. Weather wasn't great but it didn't spoil the experience. If you're a keen biker this road is not be missed. Great scenery.

The road to Italy is worth the drive as long as you don't mind looking over shear drops. Fantastic scenaryy providing the clouds don't close in.
