We love Ischgl-Samnaun ski area. You can ski in both Austria and Switzerland and cross the border many times. So many lifts for all levels and so good snow! We keep returning here. Ski instructors are not trying hard. They do not care about the kids. You see an instructor who does not even look at the kids but plays... More

Fabulous ski area - vast and open planes offering a fabulous and wonderful skiing experience for all level of skiers. This is one of the best areas I have skied in 40 years, and probably the best in Austria.

Skiing in the area of Ischgl can be recommended. Alot of nice slopes with variancy from blua to black. The skii area and town has grown from the family genuine to a smaller industry since I was here 25 years ago but still gives a good impression.

We were fortunate to have 5 days of fantastic weather. The entire ski area gives you plenty of different slopes of varied levels of difficulty. We liked the open and wide slopes on the swiss side best along with the valley between Greitspitze and Höllspitze. You can choose between speed and cruising at the different slopes in both theese areas.... More

European skiers from the Euro zone shall pay attention when they buy their Silvretta Arena skipasses in Samnaun (@ Bergbahnen Samnaun AG counters). They will be given the choice to pay in EUR or CHF (Samnaun is in Switzerland). If, by mistake or unsufficient prior information, they pay in CHF, they end up with a charge on their CC increased... We’ve just finished our first Austrian ski-trip and overall it has been a success. The skiing at Ischgl is not for beginners, but subject to a bit of moaning from our daughter, suited us well. This is probably our sixth family ski trip and everyone is comfortable with reds. Getting lost and taking our daughter down a black on day... More

Quantity and range of pistes is nearly limitless, you can ski into Switzerland in about 1 1/2 hours, ski lift infrastructure is the best I've seen, the piste maps claims 272 million euro innvested within the last ten years, the ski-schule staff are very very professional, and you will rarely be ten mins from a restaurant

An excellent choice if you enjoy skiing in a large resort. It's impossible to get bored here. However I have repeatedly had the feeling that staff in restaurants, clubs, services, etc are well aware of that and therefore don't try all that hard to be nice.
