I really thought a glacier day would be amazing, and whilst it was beautiful, boy was it busy. You spent most of your skiing day watching out for other people rather than enjoying the experience. Don't know I'd make the trip over from Zell another time. That's not to say you shouldn't go - you might like it. On a... More

Great infrastructure (cable cars, heated chair lifts, restaurants, shuttle bus on parking lots) and lots of diversified ski routs. Quite a few are marked as blue ones and they're indeed suitable for beginners or for example small kids. Despite being easy they're by no means boring. Red routes offer more challenge and for me they were fun too. I haven't... More

Visited end of April 2017 and it was busy with skiers and snowboarders. Since, we dont do any of the activity, we enjoyed the views and went up to Gipfelwelt. It was windy and freezing. The restaurants were busy, yet served great food & service. It was amazing going up there. We booked all out tickets in advance and hence... More

For the last few years we visited Schladming, Austria, however the snow there can get a bit patchy there over Easter, especially later in the day. So with school holidays being later this year we looked to find somewhere with some better Easter skiing. Kitzsteinhorn didn't disappoint! It's the tallest point in Salzburg so naturally you'd expect the snow to... More

Went here in April, when basically there was no more snow below 1500m. There was quite some people over easter, but you can still enjoy. The runs are not very difficult.

We stayed in Zell am See for a week and skied here four days .Access was good , however the ski bus is always busy. I was glad we started our journey at Zell am See and managed to get a seat on the bus . We found there were lots of beginners while we were there, however, it was... More

I came here with a friend, both of us non-skiers. The lifts were rather busy, as it was a beautiful day and close to the end of the winter season, but we still got up to the very top of the mountain and back down again relatively easily. The Gipfelwelt experience is not to be missed. It's fantastic standing outside... More

Visited yesterday but still it's crowded with skiers and snowboarders so late in season. Amazing views. Intersports is highly recommended for ski rentals.

The views from the top make it worth visiting here, they truly are stunning. Unfortunately the quality of the snow on lower mountains meant that it was very busy when we visited and this was the only negative we had. Great variety of parks and piste. As you would expect at such a popular place, there are lots of places... More
