As part of my Passport stamp walk through the town of Plains, GA, we had to get a stamp here. Friendly, clean restrooms. It is just out of town, and they also have a small museum dedicated to past President Carter. Picked up brochures on things to do in Americus and Andersonville.

Always a nice place to stop and pick up a map of this small quaint town, rich in history about our 39th president Jimmy Carter, staff are so friendly and nice, definitely worth a look.

We made a brief stop here to get ideas of places to see on our spontaneous road trip. The ladies were very nice and helpful. We took their advice, saw everything in town and had a great time.

What a wonderful and informative place! The perfect start to your trip. The lady in charge is so friendly and helpful. I wanted a picture with a cut out they have of President Cárter and she said he was taller than that and showed me where his height is marked, then she got behind the cut out and lifted it... More

After being in President Carter's Sunday school and worshipping with everyone in the service that followed, we drove to this visitor's center that I mistook as someone's home when we drove by it earlier! The center is open on Sunday and the receptionist was down to earth kind as everyone in town is, giving you information and packets of Georgia... More

Upon stopping here, you'll see what Southern hospitality is all about - very warm & friendly staff!!! Clean bathrooms. Beautiful grounds. We were going to the Jimmy Carter National Historic Site to see the boyhood farm & the lady working there highlighted the route on a local map & places we wanted to visit plus she encouraged us to help...
