This was a quick stop for us as a pullover point on our drive. This was educational and a teaser since we were heading to the real Devil's Tower the next day.

We did not make it all the way to the top as heights and rock scrambling are not really in my wheelhouse. But I would say we hiked about 3/4 of the trail. We actually started at Sylvan Lake and took the little spur which...More

I don't do vertical scrambling very well so I got stuck after making it through the narrow crevasse before going to the top. Actually, that part was fun. I should have looked for an alternate route to the top but my spouse made it and...More

You must be an avid driver and very careful as Needles Highway takes turns and winds through the forest and the mountains. The sights you see are spectacular and there is little Devil's Tower.

The Needles Highway was a beautiful drive with exquisite views. The rock formations are different from most of the other areas and really worth the time and effort to drive them. We didn't take any of the trails but there were many available.

Decided to try this trail. Basically, it was very doable and great scenery. It's quite a ways to the tower and I didn't quite make it but enjoyed the hike anyways

There are bathrooms in the parking lot, otherwise, no, there are no bathrooms along the trail.
