We certainly enjoyed our visit to Custer State Park for a day and a half in June. We took the Buffalo Jeep Safari Tour which was well worth it. We saw plenty of wildlife because the drivers communicate with each other during the tour so...More

Not only did we drive the Needles Highway and Iron Mountain Road, were spent our afternoon on the Wildlife Loop! The Burros were so entertaining. They were so full of energy, especially the young ones who were bucking and prancing. So Cute! They are curious...More

Best State Park we ever visited. Lakes, drives and trails all really spectacular. Better to come here than Badlands and Mount Rushmore.

We visited twice during our week here. Hiking to Black Elk Peak is a must. It's 7 miles of moderate to strenuous hiking, but the view is worth it!
