This is a beautiful park with a nice drive. If you have time, bring a picnic and swim suit and swim in one of the lakes. The scenery all around was beautiful.

When we entered we paid $20 for the seven day pass as we will use this park often. The wildlife is abundant to say the least. Views are amazing.

We enjoyed the park for a couple of days in June. There is a $20 per vehicle entrance fee which is good for 7 consecutive days and the annual park entrance fee is only $30. There are so many different ways to appreciate nature in...More

Huge rambling park with plenty to see - both wildlife and natural beauty. One downside, they apparently keep a nice herd of Bison - but you only get to see the herd if you take an expensive jeep tour - we saw about 6 Bison...More

The park website says you have to purchase a $20 vehicle license, but it doesn't say where you get this. Can we buy it when we enter the park, keeping in mind that we plan to arrive around 5:30 a.m. to see the most animals on the Wildlife Loop, or does it have to be purchased in advance? Thank you!

Yes. There were quite a few riders on the loop.
My husband and I are arriving in Keystone to stay two night. My two questions are 1. How late can one visit Mt. Rushmore? and 2. I wnat to spend the next full day touring the Black HIlls. Is it possible to visit Custer State Park and do the Wildlife Loop? What other notable sights are there to see? Thanks
