We did the 11:30am time slot and would recommend queuing up early to get seats in the shade once you're on board. After reading some bad reviews of the food we opted out, and I think it was nice to have no distraction from the...More

I would recommend riding aboard the Steamboat Natchez with your loved one at least once in your life. It allows all ages, but I feel the kids on board weren't as interested as the adults. My husband and I paid our almost $80/person to enjoy...More

You are welcomed aboard the Steamboat Natchez by an organist playing well known music on the steam whistles of the boat which really sets the mood of your journey ahead. The commentary as you steam down river is entertaining, and full of great moments in...More

Taking a tour on the Steamboat Natchez is a wonderful way to start your visit to NOLA. Try to be there at least half an hour before leaving and do not forget to exchange your voucher for a ticket at the lighthouse counter. If you...More

Went with friends down to the battlefield at Chalmette, passed wharves, then factories and interesting architecture like the Steamboat houses in Araby. The commentary was informative, lunch was good and watching the paddlewheel propelling the boat was an added bonus, lot's of fun.
