Chef Bond and Aaron hosted an amazing Roux Cooking Class! It was exactly the type of cooking class my husband and I were looking for. Hands on, authentic, relaxed, and using all of your senses. Not only does Chef Bond live in an historic Victoria...More

Great experience in an intimate setting. This is not a large, impersonal class....lots of direct interaction with Chef Bond. It's 100% hands-on, no sitting back and watching Chef do everything. I can't recommend this highly enough. Hop on the ferry to Algiers Point and walk...More

I went to this cooking school with a group of girlfriends on a girls' weekend. We took the class on cooking New Orlean style foods. It was amazing. First, it is hands-on unlike some classes where you just watch. Chef Bond and Stacy were very...More

Richard, Stacy, and Troy were all kind, welcoming hosts. I took a private class with one other person, and it is now a very special New Orleans memory. We learned to make three staples of creole/cajun cooking, we drank wine, and enjoyed the company of...More

The Mardi Gras School of Cooking is by far my favorite "hands-on" cooking class in New Orleans. Held in the kitchen of his home in old Algiers, Chef Richard's class was a great experience. I was with a very nice couple the first day and...More

My niece and I signed up on line for a cooking class, but what we got was so much more! With Chef Richard we shared stories, history, laughter, valuable hands on techniques, and the best food we had on our trip!IMG_3735.MOV

Sitting pretty across the Mississippi River from the
rambunctious French Quarter, the Crescent City’s
second oldest neighborhood is as historic and as
scenic as any – just a lot less showy about it. With
its numerous 19th and early 20th century homes and
plentiful parks and riverside green space for cycling
and walking, subdued and low key Algiers yields the
best views of New Orleans and offers a quiet haven

Prices begin at $150 pp and go up. See our web site
My husband and I were booked for a class the week of New Year's and the chef never showed up. We went to his house and he said he somehow didn't get the reservation even though we were charged and confirmed. He said he would process a refund, but it's been 3 months and my husband also tried to initiate a refund through paypal. Please refund our money and 2 round trip ferry tickets for the inconvenience and disappointment. Thanks
