Spotted Cat is a great place to light for really good New Orleans Music. Some dancing but very crowded which adds to the charm. Beer cold with very good music.

Wonderful neighborhood on the south side of the quarter, several bars, mostly residential, close to Hotel de la Monnaie, on Esplanade near Frenchmen St.

What a surprise this area was. It has a great history and our guide, Kathy, gave us all of it. All different styles of colorful Cajun shot gun houses and camelback houses painted in the most beautiful colors. It’s worth crossing walking the 5 minutes...More

I loved walking the streets in this quiet neighborhood after filling up on some live music. Lined with charming homes and then suddenly there's one modern cube.

Did a drive around exploration which I am sure the locals hate...tourists clogging the roads. Its an adorable community. Will come back and visit on foot.

NOLA is more than The Quarter. Marigny has a lot of fine old wooden houses in all colours and shapes. Your camera will thank you for spending 1 hour or so here.
