Absolutely love this spot for a pre dinner drink or late night cocktails. The view is arguably the best in the city. So the outside can get a little crowded. Go early!

And ask for Alaina!!! She’s funny and knows so much about cocktails. Even if you don’t drink, she can make you a killer mocktail.

Husband and I go for a cocktail and take in the view. Starts a tab. I have a filthy dirty Grey Goose martini, he a glass of wine. Bartender surprises us with the bill, $42 martini, $13 glass of wine!
When asked about what was certainly an error on the martini price, the bartender defended the cost of martini: $16 for top shelf Goose( ok, but a bit more expensive than usual) plus $13 for 'fillers' ie. vermouth and brine which he doubled for 'the filthy or extra, extra dirty'!!! Give me a break! Screw the out of town guest! Visitors to this bar beware! The view or ambiance is not worth this drink price.

We were on our way to check out a different bar when a couple walking down the street suggested this bar. They said the view of the city was fantastic. We walked in and was blown away by the views

We loved our time at Hot Tim. The aesthetic is great, with old photographs on the walls and under the glass of the tables. The view is incredible as well.

Located on the roof of the Pontchartrain Hotel, Hot Tin is a great place to enjoy a cocktail (or a few).

Low lighting helps create a relaxing atmosphere on the inside, despite how noisy it may be when they’re busy.

There’s also a small balcony, where you can enjoy a view of downtown. It’s particularly enjoyable after dark when you can see the city lights.

As for the cocktails, they have a menu of unique creations you don’t see many places. The menu changes somewhat frequently though. What they offer today may be different than what they offer if/when you return a few months from now. All the usual bar drinks are always available too, of course.

For me, Hot Tin also wins brownie points for its clever reference to the Tennessee Williams play Cat on a Hot Tin Roof… Because, you know, the lounge is called “Hot Tin” and you’re on the roof.

We stopped in for a drink after walking around the Garden District. There are good views of the city towards the river or the Superdome area. The drinks we tried were also delicious and the beer was cold. It was the perfect place for a break during our visit.

I've been here several times during my travels to New Orleans. The view at any time of the day can't be beaten.

We were staying within walking distance and wanted drinks with friends who were in New Orleans for the first time. It was hot and humid and we didn't want to take the streetcar down to the French Quarter. Great view of the city and the drinks were good. Would definitely go again next time we are in NOLA and would recommend it especially to people staying on St. Charles Street.

This bar is pretty chill. The views are impressive and the drinks were good. We were here during a thunderstorm and it was crazy to see how we went from a clear view to heavy fog in the span of 5 minutes. When the rain started pouring, everyone went inside.

Better bartenders that can actually handle the amount of people there. Bartenders were rude and were more about the show then making people their drinks.
