Went to my first ever crawfish boil at Maple Leaf last week. Had so much fun. Joe Krown Trio played, they were great.

We went by taxi very late on a Tuesday during our recent trip to NOLA. We were fortunate that we arrived just as Rebirth was taking a break between sets and got places right in front of the stage. Otherwise, I definitely recommend getting there...More

People came early, most got asked to leave and re-enter to pay the cover. We were next door checking out the works of Frenchy on display. So much of his work is musical that is just seemed like a good opener. $20 a head is...More

Out of the way but easy to get to on the St Charles street car. Beautiful ride past grand homes. Maple leaf is a grass roots local bar and venue. It hosts some pretty amazing music from funk to traditional and acid jazz. If you...More

One of the more popular ways to spend a Tuesday night in New Orleans is to visit the Maple Leaf when the Rebirth Brass Band is playing. And they do- every Tuesday night. The energy was so fun. The drinks were not too expensive. The...More

Went on a Sunday night to see the Joe Krown Trio and both the bar and band were phenomenal. If you are looking for a true, local music experience away from the hustle and bustle this is the place!

Hi! I unfortunately will not be getting into town until Wednesday. I am planning on taking my husband to Jaques-imo's and then Maple Leaf. Does anyone know what they offer as far as Weds night local music, (specifically 4/5/2017)?

Stick with your plan. Did you see who is at the Maple Leaf on Wed. night? The New Orleans Suspects. Are you in town for the French Quarter Fest? That'll be a great time.
do you have recommendations on times to go? We'd like to see Rebirth, but most acts are 9 or 10- yet some reviews say they went at 5 (on other nights) what's a good time to arrive if you want to get there after the music started?

Rebirth plays Tuesday's at 1030. There is limited, very limited seating so unless there is a special need, just plan on standing. I personally enjoyed the local brass bands that played in the street corner but the Maple Leaf... More
hi, we're hoping to be there on a Tuesday around 7 pm, and are deciding between Rebirth and Kermit- do you know the times Rebirth plays? Do they start later? Most bands start around 9 pm, or 10 pm, so we'd show then...any guidance is much appreciated!

Rebirth go on at 11:00 pm at earliest. You could probably catch both in one night!
