Gray Line New Orleans has been showcasing the city since 1924. Locally owned and operated, the Gray Line schedule includes the award winning Original Cocktail Tour. Another top offering is the Ghost Tour, which has been so intensely researched that the hotel with the most reported Ghost sightings in the city has invited Gray Line to produce an exhibit in their hotel. Among our professionally escorted tours are the Super City Tour, Katrina Tours, Swamp & Bayou, Airboat Swamp Tours, Oak Alley & Laura Plantation Tours, Cemetery & Voodoo, French Quarter & Garden District Walking Tours We limit the number of guests on our walking tours to enhance the experience and the view is always better from our luxurious mini-busses and motor coaches. Our Tour Guides are well trained, licensed, and want to share their personal experiences along the way. Morning to evening you can count on Gray Line New Orleans

With the help of our excellent guide-bus driver, we had an extremely pleasant experience. Ken Foulk entertained and informed us, knowledgably, on a wide range of historical and topical subjects. The time flew by on our route from NOLA to St. James parish and back. Oak Alley is a beautiful setting full of history and tour staff are very professional.... More

Took the 9:00 AM Super City Tour with Ken Faulk. He was very amusing and very knowledgeable! The bus was very comfortable and nice. He was born and raised in Louisiana and gave a lot of suggestions on where to eat and shop.

it was okay. driver had good sense of humor, although him and the dispatch guy got into an argument over the radio which we thought was unprofessional. good overview of city but too hard to see from high backed seats in bus. might try other companies if had a do-over.

We did the double plantation tour (Whitney and Laura)! The driver was AMAZING and we felt like we'd got a tour just by driving out to the plantations. Real value for money! A must for all.

We did the two plantation tour with Jude and the Katrina/city tour with Ken. Both were excellent tour guides. Heartily recommend this tour company.

Guide was knowledgeable and made the tour interesting. Hearing about the effects of Katrina twelve years ago and then actually visiting the areas effected and learning about the efforts to prevent a future devastating incident were enlightening. Visiting the Lake Pontchartrain, the Lighthouse and viewing levees and coastal erosion exhibits were informative. A stop at a New Orleans cemetery is... More

Booked the longer city bus tour and the steamboat ride back to back. Bus returned on schedule giving the four of us barely enough time to get aboard the boat. Problem is, since we were among the last aboard, we couldn't find any empty benches for seating. On the bright side, the bus tour was outstanding because of Mike and... More

Luckily, and I hope they let you know, that they do not have to be taken on the same day. Many people purchase this discounted package but use the tour and cruise separately. We hope you come back and visit again soon! More

Billi Jo was an enthusiastic and informative guide on our Gray Line Walking Tour. We learned about history and architecture in the French Quarter. The tour ended at the Cabildo, a museum next to the cathedral, where our walking tour ticket gave us free admission to the museum.

We took the voodoo cemetery tour, because there is a virtual geocache at Marie Laveau's grave that is inaccessible unless you take the tour. Our tour guide, Marcia, was very knowledgeable about Marie's ties between voodoo and Catholicism, but truthfully, voodoo only accounted for about 10% of this tour. There is plenty more to see in this cemetery, though, and... More

our tour was at 730pm and we literally walked into ONE bar and stood around paying customers to hear about a ghost story. The customers did not seem too thrilled and we were uncomfortable. Also, there were other tours in the area and many times we could not get close enough to the attraction being discussed. I would recommend that... More

We will contact you directly. Our tours are limited intentionally and with 29 people we would have gone in two groups. More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
